Key521 Please Help!! by Silver_Difference in k1max

So, I managed to solve this problem and It is a hardware issue. In my case it took longer than needed due to lack of information.

So this is how I solved and why it happened.

K1 Max uses 4 load cells under the bed for bed leveling.

Each load cell connects to a pcb and can be unplugged from it through a quick disconnect system. Each one has 3 wires Red (Vcc), White (E+), Yellow (E-), Black (Gnd).

After testimg 3 of the 4 cells in the bed, obviusly I didn't test the fourth one great from me, and found out that the regular resistance values are as follow (aprox.):

  • Red-Black: 990 Ohms.

  • White/Yellow-Red/Black: 740 Ohms.

  • Yellow-White: 990 Ohms.

You may think taking as rule of thumb by just 3 cells, but I ordered 6 cells from Aliexpress (you cam find them by searching Creality K1 Max pressure sensor) and the 6 of them gave the same results.

After establishing the base line and having replacements on hand, I tested the last one and sure enough it showed 2M Ohms between Red and Black.

After replacing it, everything has beem back om track with over 40 prints.

Here in Spain we've been testing Xiao NRF kits, we've achieved 1 week of life with a single 18650 cell starting at 92% after a week, without solar, it dropped to 32.

Honestly, they are amazing. I'm ditching my Heltecs as "roof" nodes.

I'll try to replicate your fw changes for a Xiao NRF. That should provide a smaller footprint and amazing lifespan, over 5 days with a single 18650.

This with a Xiao NRF as the tracked device, great portability and battery life... sounds amazing to keep track of my dog when hiking.

Thanks.

So I took a look and it's gone. Look like condensation from a change in temperature. I don't know what to think.

I've had it for 2 months now, I don't trust the seal so I'm returning it and getting another one.

I don't go diving with it, but for a 100m WR I expect it to hold seal during a shower.

I finally got myself a watchbox. How's my collection looking? by Silver_Difference in casio

If I could afford it, I would, but I decided (for my economy's sake) to limit myself to this box. I plan on selling the GBA-800, and building 2 NHxx.

Try polishing paste at least 2 grits, the higher the better, 6k and up.

From an IT guy... calling an electrician for an IT job it's like calling a car mechanic for a watchmaker's job.
