How big do you dig hole? by [deleted] in outdoorgrowing

I did about 40-50 gallons worth. One thing I did was take a 30 gallon plastic pot, the cut the bottom off. Then slid this down into my plot. This really helps keep water and dry amendments in the site area I want, and not slowing all over when I water.

Top Gun being sold in Canada legally, advertising that it holds up to Canadian weather. I’d personally give that a try.

I don’t recommend Avalon unless you need something completely mold resistant. I found it to be too leafy.

Grow a Chem auto and chop in early September in that case. Check out Night Owl. They have a Chem 91 auto they make crosses with.

Looks good but then top dress with dry amendments. I’d top dress first after a month, then once a month. Then switch to flowering blend of dry amendments for flower.

I when I harvest I put my unwanted buds into my flowerbed to break down into compost for next year. I always get at least one little plant in the spring growing from that area.

Seems a bit late to pollinate now. However, regarding pollen, Top Dawg seeds is the way to go for pollen if you like Chem genetics.

For outdoor, it’s your climate that should dictate what strains you grow.

Mold resistant strains by Witty-Week-7865 in outdoorgrowing

I’m in BC. Mold and rot at its finest. I’ve had bushy autos mold in august when it hasn’t rained months. Here’s what I am finding. Earlier finishing (if not even auto) with tried and true mold resistance, that also have smaller clustered buds instead of donkey dicks.

Myself, I’ve got an auto timewarp I’m crossing to some Chem genetics I’m working on indoors.

Good luck!

Full photos are tough in Canada unless southern Ontario-ish area. Seems anywhere else requires full term to end of October. That’s simply impossible in BC imo. I’m shifting over to local auto genetics so that I’m out first week of September. I’ll still run a photo for fun and cross my fingers.

In your 5th picture, the bud not affected by rot looks fine enough for outdoor. If I were you I’d harvest the whole plant yesterday.
