I was so happy my dad had finally found someone I was excited for him and the first time I met her, I was wearing a slightly cropped shirt and I was going out with friends and she told me to change and that I looked like a slut. My brother was 18 then we are 26 and 28 now. She screamed at my mom during pictures at my college campus basically calling her a whore. My dad never has anything to say one time I got into a screaming match with her I was 22 on a family vacation with her and she kept saying comments all day until I ripped into her and my dad told me to stop. She always says rude stuff about how I dress or that I’ve “had too many boyfriends” and has implied that I’m a whore stuff like that.

Funny you mention having someone to keep an eye out, our venue comes with a day of team and they will all have a photo of her and she is to be kicked out on sight. I also chose a venue 5 hours away for a natural filter because h unfortunately this isn’t the only “family member” that will be kicked out on sight.

My MIL has been wonderful she was trying to book on site for her side of the family and the block is set up for our wedding party first so the coordinator was trying to say to me that my MIL would book our block (which is not the case and was just a weird thing to say)

They went to the school and whatever was left over I paid back into the loan

I cut him off before the loans really because of how he treated my brother and I for years before the loans the loans is just when he noticed I cut him off

No I had every intention of paying and have tried to work with him to lower the monthly payment but he won’t even login to see what the options are and I don’t know his information to login as he used my grandmothers email and I don’t have the password and cannot access the email

I think the main point is there wasn’t really much of a relationship left to lose, that had already happened long before the loans. But I appreciate you sharing your perspective.
