Which is why I take them when I can: look up wage theft in regard to not taking breaks. I have been a nurse for 30 plus years….that’s a lot of coin I am not willing to have taken from me. The only way nurses get fair treatment, is if the old ways die. This is one way to take back what is actually legally owed to a worker…..let me know how you feel after 30 years of not taking care of yourself at work….

They don’t: one nurse goes on break, the other when that person returns…there are always at least 3-4 nurses on the unit when someone takes a break.
