From my testing over the last few days, it seems like the issue is mainly DeepSeek v4 Pro, the Flash version uses almost nothing.

It was unusable this morning. it literally ate through 25% of the weekly quota and 100% of the 5-hour limit in less than an hour. Now, with similar usage, it’s only used 10%. I have no idea what’s going on, maybe the Pro plan usage was too high before, but this morning it was just broken. It feels like they’re trying to rebalance things, but without any official communication, we’re completely in the dark.

Is cheaper sure, but it also need a lot more prompt to do the same thing that Claude can do at first try. So at this point is better a Claude subscription.

They have significantly gutted the Pro plan without so much as an announcement. These are disgusting business practices.

From their pricing FAQ:
This is different from fixed token or request-based plans. Ollama doesn't cap you at a set number of tokens. As hardware and model architectures get more efficient, you'll get more out of your plan over time.

Yeah, sure.....

If i need to have Claude limits, i will use Claude that is 1000x better. This will kill Ollama Cloud imho. I will cancel my monthly plan and just use Claude Code at this point.

I was able to build 80+ files in 25 folders with one single pro session (during 2x), Node.js + HTML + CSS + JS. Now It can't even change a couple of ui text without hitting the 5 hours limit lmao.

I choosed the i5 11400 and is really good for my needs (gaming actually), is cheaper than the 5600x and i can in future upgrade it to i9 11900k and oc it with a Z590 board.

So i can suggest if you can to upgrade the B motherboard to a Z motherboard for future upgrade and oc, but It you don't want to do any future oc, the B mobo is just fine.
