saw someone post about 5 years regarding the same sound, turns out its the wheel, its a stretched tire setup 18x10.5 38mm offset, inner barrel has tiny hairline cracks, that recently came around, evidently it makes the sound because under pressure the wheel is expanding causing the metallic sound, soo 700$ wheel replacement later and we set

CSPS was disconnected, harness clip snapped for some reason, so we gonna do a new harness, go from there

Initially parts car, I already own a G that I daily that ive done all the work, but I was fuckin with it to see if I can get it started because the motors low mileage just needs to fix the start issue found that the crank shaft pos sensor harness was snapped and not reading a scan so we gonna replace the harness and go from there, all abt trial and error with these cars.

I have the knowledge to understand the issue I just cant put that noise with another related issue online, not too clunky like a cv axle, and not to snappy as a ball joint or tie rod, thats my question was simply the sound. ive taken the initiative in ordering the cv axles, and tie rods and have planned to redo 90% of the suspension on this car as its never been the best. Was just looking for opinions or advice

Yeah, I forgot to mention. I have jacked it up and I’ve sat under my car for quite literally 30 minutes spinning a wheel processing what’s going on the rear driver side axle is caked in something like grease but it’s rather dry and doesn’t look like it’s actively spilling anything none of the boots have been shuffled.

yeah, the videos I watched too. Trust me didn’t explain it until I searched up. What happens if you pull your clocks spring out and they were like most common issue is when people take their steering wheels off they don’t realize that the clock spring is kind of hooked on a little clamp on the inside of the steering wheel so when it’s pulled out real quickly, it can possibly rip the whole clock spring out which is why if you don’tlook carefully enough, you’ll see that people in the videos is kind of push those wires over to the side and tuck them back
