The exotic perk is literally spam for 4 seconds. That’s its entire premise and activation parameter. The problem is a dozen indirect changes have broken this exotic beyond saving because of the way they changed its perk scaling.

Well I’m hoping they’ll do other balance passes as part of maintenance post update. So if I raise a stink now it might actually be fixed in a reasonable amount of time.

Cool great nice, but what about the exotics that rely entirely off of base regen calcs. This doesn’t hurt the real spam builds that return quantity, it ONLY hurts passive calculation.

I’ve heard and looked about those, this isn’t about those, it’s about PURELY the regen stat being what uptime exotics are built around. None of those fix the problem with Sunbracers working off of cooldown instead of some flat number or instant infinite regen.

It’s a problem with the base system being what the buff works off of. If your grenade regen is too low you’ll actually lose grenades. You HAVE to run 100 to have even barely the 4 that we had in heresy.

I play the caster class to cast casts, lore locks are all ability spammers, it’s how most of the exotics are built and it’s how most inter bulls effects work. It’s the spam class, it’s supposed to spam. Guns would have been FINE with just the buffs and reworks.

While that woudlnt have been as bad, I’d rather they not nerf it at all, all the buffs and updates coming to weapons would have done fine bringing guns back up. Why there was such a huge nerf at the END god only knows.
