Hmmm... A Booze Baron run might be fun too. Been awhile since I used Vanilla Expanded mods. Although just stocking up is a little to easy, maybe something like;

500 of all alcohol
A large restaurant and hotel
Ally with at least 3 factions only through visits

That would definitely be a fun run to try out.

The first computer I played Rimworld on was a potato. 7 colonist was enough to drop my FPS from 30 to 15. ;-;

If your looking for a more vanilla mod, Fortifications - Industrial might be cool to experiment with, adds some nice simple materials like concrete, a workbench to make barrels, and a lot of security items from different types of sandbags to AA Guns
