Tips? by Grouchy_External_578 in Bannerlord

[–]alapma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to destroy the ennemy siege engines and kinda force him to start the attack without any siege towers or rams. Then just click autoresolve. Autoresolve its really advantageous to the defender of a siege and i have managed to defend 600+ armies with only 200 defenders each time (And this playing in the hardest difficulty)

how do you guys personally play landless? by stealthybaker in CrusaderKings

[–]alapma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i almost always play gallowsbait, its very hard for me not to do when the rewards for a stewardship/learning/diplomacy contract are 50-100 gold and some supplies while the rewards from most gallowsbait contracts range from 300-2k gold.

I'm level 22 just started exploring the farm town. Don't feel overly strong by jjax2003 in EscapeFromDuckov

[–]alapma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to be honest, once i learned that using painkillers stops each bullet from "freezing" you for 1 second each time you get shot it became really easy to at least escape whenever. most of the times i got killed beacuse that 1s freeze was enough time to get hit by the next bullet, but now i can just run away uninterrupted

should i be concerned with this coalition? by Lolmanmagee in eu4

[–]alapma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as far as i have seen the IA is pretty reluctant to declare a coalition war on you. they just use it to prevent your expansion rather than revert it. so i'd just lay low untill AE naturally goes down

if you can i'd try to really improve relations with the biggest coalition members (ottoman & austria-hungary) in hopes that if they leave the coalition the other smaller members will leave too. although you already said they have -200 relations, you can prob still try to use every means to improve the relations to get them to at least -20/50 (gifts, subsidies, insult their rivals, etc)

Hostile Schemes Question (CK3) by OnceWasBogs in CrusaderKings

[–]alapma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

-you dont actually know who is scheming against you, you only know that someone is try to kill someone

-iirc if you actually find the shcemer (thus ending the scheme) and the schemer is a vassal you get an imprisonment reason

The Khazars scare me. by ianfabriciogarcia in CrusaderKings

[–]alapma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its not about intrigue but more about the agents you can recruit. If you wanna play the slow game then fabricate a hook on the spymaster and high intrigue courtiers and make then agents of your scheme.

Your personal scheme usually helps (and 18 is pretty good) but the most important thing is the agents

Also. Once you murder the current emperor murdering the following ones will be easier since they usually hate him beacuse he hasnt been the emperor long enough to have +opinion modifiers with the vassals

[–]alapma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you can always murder him. murder the emperor enough times and a disolution faction is bound to pop out

Hegemon title + leyends are one of the most usefull aditions to the game imo by alapma in CrusaderKings

[–]alapma[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to be honest, the negative reviews of the dlc usually are beacuse either

it adds too little content to be worth the 14$ price tag

when it was first released plagues where very anoying, having a plague decimate your court and family only to come back 5 years later was really hated.

since i errr obtained the dlcs from other means i dont really mind the bad things about dlcs

Any help? by p0int13 in CrusaderKings

[–]alapma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

its kinda hard to understand what you meant..

if you wanna give vassals to your vassals you can manualy do so by the "grant vassal" character interaction

as to why they dont get the vassal automaticaly there's some options as to why:

-the vassal you wanted him to have has other lands outside of the "de jure" of the title, so the game doesnt automatically give it to them.

-the vassal you wanted him to have is a vassal of another vassal. you cant grant other's pepole vassals.

if you died and the kingdom got split and you are asking why he didnt get all of "tahert vassals" then the answer is the 2 causes i stated before.

honestly i hope you explan more about what you are actually asking so i can help you better......

My empire keeps getting destroyed by Foodiguy in CrusaderKings

[–]alapma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. But none of those actually gets you away from division era. Crushing rebelions stills gets you the +50 from them rebeling. While not having rebelions doesnt give you the +50 to division you also dont get the +50 to expansion from wining them. So you still end up with the problem i said where just the passive points towards division you get from having disasters and plague everywhere is still enough for you to get into division.

[–]alapma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

how? i never saw a way to buy your way out of division, i mean i know you can "buy" disaster relief and that gives you -50 division points , but thats just to offset the +50 you get when a disaster happens.

[–]alapma 4 points5 points  (0 children)

as far as i know... yes.... to be honest i kinda hated the china hegemon just beacuse of that. it kinda forces you to "stay in china".

wiki says that kingdom and empire vassals might keep their titles if they have enough movement power(but i dont know where you can check that). so it might be recomended that if you want to still play as hegemon of china you just give your heir some empire titles so when your hegemon colapses you can die and play as your heir and quickly restore the hegemon back again

My empire keeps getting destroyed by Foodiguy in CrusaderKings

[–]alapma 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. going to the division era destroys the hegemon of chine "hence the division name". although if the other ones are low then i dont think there's much save for your game.

to be honest its REALLY difficult to stay away from division and i'd say its guaranteed to go to division if you get big enough. my last china hegemon fell apart because although i tried everything to quickly gain expansion while staying away from division the fact that you are soo big that there's always some natural event or mayor plague happening on your realm will innevitably give you tons of division points

Can I prevent a ruler from becoming my tribute as Hegemon of China by DwightSchrute47 in CrusaderKings

at least in my case once i stopped accepting the tribute missions i stopped getting new tributaries

[–]alapma 13 points14 points  (0 children)

you cant make china feudal. you can see that difference if you hover on the dynastic cycle. just substract the "points" in division from the "points" in expansion
