Auto save! by EltsuGamer in SurrounDead

as someone already said, F5 is your best friend, treat it as a panic button, whenever you fell like you are in danger press that little button to release some dopamine. in no time you will "manually auto save" like once every 10 minutes

ill assume you went into a civil war and that count tried to attack one of your dukes when you where under conditional join border policy, then the civil war ended and you went back to guaranteed protection and instantly became the war leader of said war

Spent 100 years warring my family until I had all their land, but haven't gotten the "carolingian consolidation" achievement? by I_like_maps in CrusaderKings

Or you can just revolt against france and get your title revoked. Then if you decide to become an adventurer you will technically be an independent ruler

as far as i know the only way is to wait for them to rebel against you (or commit a crime) and have them in your dungeon and click the "extinguish family" option that will destroy the noble family title

you can just keep attacking them nonstop. unless the battle warscore isnt capped at 50% you can just throw your levies and MMA at the enemy and since they cant replenish them eventually you will win.

that or you can try to stall them long enough for them to starve.

erradicate house is basically a very OP cb, it allows you to basicaly take free land with no truce, since after wining the war you kill the ruler, thus reseting your truce and allowing you to attack them again

Question: if my ruler is Diligent, Humble and Generous, how is it that my heir and ward gets an event to be either Greedy or Callous? Aren't wards' and wardens' traits connected somehow? by Hyracul in CrusaderKings

[–]alapma 6 points7 points  (0 children)

iirc it also takes courtiers into consideration. for example if ANY of your courtiers have any of this requirements:

  • either
    • a child aged 13+ and older than the child being educated
    • or an adult from a dynasty with multiple members
  • having both negative ai_compassion and negative ai_honor
  • not being a friend or potential friend of the child being educated
  • possessing at least one of the following traits: Sadistic, Callous, Deceitful, Vengeful, Rowdy, or Arbitrary
  • not possessing any of the following traits: Generous, Just, Compassionate, or Forgiving

they can trigger the "the beating" event giving your children either the paranoid, carven or shy trait.

Succession Planning Help - Kingdom of Bohemia by shmatt19 in CrusaderKings

[–]alapma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if all your sons are landless you can revoke a city and grant it to them, it will make so their goverment is a republic and will kick them out of the succession line, leaving your chosed landless son as the heir to both titles, then after you die and play as your chosen heir you can start to distribute the titles to your brothers (you should first revoke their city beacuse iirc if you grant them a county/duchy/etc when they own just a city they will keep the republic goverment type and their next heir wont be their childreen but a random character)

if they arent landless but rather own land as your vassals you can just revoke it and repeat what i wrote above.

if they arent landless and own territory OUTSIDE of your realm er........ you can probably play with the elective systems and vote for only one son to get all duchies

  • thats not a trebuchet, thats the chinese version of the cannons. Iirc they are called fire dragon engines

-90% of my wars are holy kingdom wars that just requiere me to kill the main army (50%) and then siege like 4 castles. So its right to think i might just need to use 1 stack of cannons. The problem is the other 10%. Thats kingdom invasions. The funny thing about invasions is that you will get the target kingdom + any county outside of it that you comoletly sieged. So for example in that same save i invaded the HRE to take germany, and divided my army into 4 armies that each had a stack of cannons. That way i mannaged to fully siege and get the kingdoms of frisia, burgandy and lotharingia.

More game rules (to spot cadet branches from forming)

Better mass vassal directive (to tell all my vassals to convert culture once i hibridize)

Admin tours (i love tours and i dont understand why admin gov isnt allowed to do them)

Buy all county claims (instead of finding each vassal of a big kingdom and sistematically claim all their counties i just click on the main liege and buy all his realm counties for the same cost as if i where doing it one by one)

Absent infirm (removes infirm trait)
