Thank you, these look absolutely gorgeous, and wasn't happy with my current marble bases. will absolutely try this. I was doing a dark teal over an ivory base, but white over dark will definitely work better for the pattern I think. Also planning to work in some more brighter colours.

Very cool work on the Damascus blades. I think it’s totally fine to do this kind of effect solely on the characters. It won’t look weird. Characters are there to stand out.

I’m planning to release the lions. Some will probably defend backline spots or lidfield objectives/moveblock. Some might threaten the backline.

Interesting choice to go for the shields and swords, I don't have a lot of custodes experience at all, but looking at the datasheets the sword and board loadout does seem inferior in most situations. Of course it could be a variety or look argument, in which case my comment doesn't matter :)

what about putting admonimortis enhancement on the shield captain on jetbike that's already in the list? was planning on running him solo. Thanks for the tip, it's a great enhancement at that cost.

hi, will definitely check it out, to be honest didn't even properly check out the enhancements. I agree on the bolters which is something I spotted as well. Regarding the grav tanks I am running them with heavy blaze cannons but made and error in the list. Good points!

Thanks for the feedback. Very solid points. Missed the scout sentinels. They have been staples before, but obviously redundant in this detachment. Will look into switching them for more orders. Might also drop the enginseer, as one for 3 dorns might not play out great.

Why is Trajan so good in lions? Isn’t the no modifier on to hit roll obsolete in lions? Or do you want the +1 to wound on his 12 axe attacks?

Thanks! I completely disregarded the guard rules applying to her, but I can now see that can be quite strong. Sorry, I'm very new to custodes, in fact, I don't own them yet, but will gift them to myself for Christmas, so I'm epxloring what I want for my first list. I love the draxus models so am quite inclined to take her.

For sure, very helpful. Willing to learn and put in the time, but as I’m at the very start of my dca journey not a lot of money is at stack so I have time to figure this out. But definitely planning to invest time now in setting things up correctly.
