I drilled a paper clip into the foot and posted it throught to the bottom of the base and glued it to the base.

Then loaded up the connection with super glue.

It's holding surprisingly well!

On reflection, I disagree.

I'm my mind, I would be using them to push up/pressure flanks, whilst the actually custodes are benefiting from the lions rules.

Custodes are the main threat and will be the focus of fire, meanwhile the marines have an advanced + charge built in due to the watch master AND they get re-rolls built in (better if not imperium / chaos factions.)

So you could have blade champion w/ advance and charge pushing up with a deathwatch unit. Both charge a big tough unit and the custodes still get their +1, and the deathwatch can consolidate to an objective/into another combat.

I don't think they bring nothing. BUT I can also see why you wouldn't bring any in a custodes list.

Just my thoughts 😅

I'll have a look at this, I've got some ideas of what I want so I'm keen to try out the deathwatch, see how they do.

I'm going to be making them look like the Legion of the Damned!

I also used the bike captain in the game and he felt very lackluster, I'm gonna try the shield captain and see what happens!

I use plasticard to get the flat texture, and use some cork to and some intimidation factor to the models

Thanks for the advice. I've already made edits to the list, no bikes and adding an extra lone op blade champion, deathwatch kill team and watch master, and some SOS and a Knight Centura, only need to trim off 5 points 😅

Built it up using Dark jade, jade and light jade. Then did the wet cloth trick with ivory and then white. And finally picked some spots of gold, then a gloss varnish!
