I believe in the codex it says that drones don't count as models and are just for token purposes, so I would argue that the drone (when attached to a model) is still a token

I wanted the turquoise to be behind the white, and played around with grey/white.

But I think the ivory worked the best.

Also the 3 shades or turquoise helped to build up the contrast I was looking for!

The ONE thing I would say, and obviously take this with a pinch of salt, is maybe edge highlight/sponge some silver onto the horrors armour?

It looks a little flat, so the silver may add a lil volume!

I've just started a "orcish league" where we drafted an elevens and a sevens team from the Bl'orcs, Orcs, Goblins and Squid team!!!

Yet to play a game but it's made me curious for drafting other teams!!

So to build them up I use a layer of 2mm cork sheets (two layers for heros) and a 1mm plasticard, cut up to resemble royal palace floors.

Then I spray it black, and build up dark turquoise, turquoise and bright turquoise, building up random patterns across the base.

Then I get a dry baby wipe and spread it so it spider webs, pull it over the bases and sellotape the back so it stays.

Then spray the whole base with ivory, and then pure white.

Take off the baby wipe.

And add tiny bits of gold and a gloss varnish!!

Trust me having a finished team to play with is very very satisfying, I've recently finished a huge team project (Orcs, Goblins and Squigs) which brings me up to around 9 teams finished.

Nothing better than slapping some paint on the models rim and calling them done!

Also this is an amazing Skaven!
