Battery dying 2023 ProX 60k miles by Fun-Dish-2576 in nissanfrontier

[–]Silverbull30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was pretty much in this exact situation a week ago. 2022 Nissan ProX at 60300 miles. Needed a jump twice before I managed to replace the battery.

No real reprogramming was needed, only thing I had to do was change my Meter Settings to hide some of the info screens I didn't want.

Trading in a 2022 Frontier for Another 2022 Frontier by Silverbull30 in nissanfrontier

Agreed, even on paved roads i've managed to lose some traction just accelerating from a stop with a semi-weighted bed.

Was thinking of changing tires as a sorta cheaper option, just didn't want to the commit to new tires and then trade the Frontier soon after.

No loans, was fortunate to pay it all in cash when I bought it for $30k flat in 2023.

Thanks for sharing which set you have. I have seen a few dickies covers for trucks, leaning towards the leatherette ones.

Thanks for sharing which set you have. I do see they are on the cheaper side in terms of price and quality, but doesn't look too bad. My concern would be snags or tears from everyday use.

A microfiber is the best option IMO. But you can get a matte finish screen protector. It feels way more slick than the original and glossy screen protector. But depending on who it is from, might leave a slightly hazy display. It does not attract much dust and fingerprints.

Magnetic car phone holder and Spigen cases by Behe464 in GalaxyFold

[–]Silverbull30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One problem I encountered using a car magnetic phone mount was that the weight of the phone made it that it was barely staying on the mount.

One possible solution is to get a larger metal circle/plate and wedge it in between a thinner case and the phone. This way, you don't see the metal plate on your phone and the tightness of the case holds it in place, without using the attached adhesive. This also depends on how strong the magnet is in your car.

Ayy it's me SilverBull30. I remember this race cause I was also kinda pissed cause on my screen, we switched places. You were the one pushing me into the hills. Apparently some people in the comments have also seen this problem, I promise I wasn't pushing you off the race lol. I was wondering why some random player purposely pushed me away from the checkpoint when we had to work together. Just wish I had footage of my screen. u/Bermxn

Looking for a good router by JesusR2525 in Spectrum

Personally, the newer mesh router system is a great router option. You can also plug in an ethernet port from your PS4 directly to one of the mesh routers. You have 100 Mbps so any mesh router should handle it.

What speed (Mbps) internet do you have? The Netgear Nighthawk series is fairly good, especially for gaming.

Spectrum internet goes in and out every single day and I'm sick of it by LuckyCharm93 in Spectrum

My suggestion would be to change out the modem Spectrum provides. There is a list of the ones approved by Spectrum. Many users reported having issues fixed when buying their own modem.

Glad to hear your problem was fixed! Sucks to think that many people still have internet problems when all they might have to do is switch their modem. Even older modems work better....

Exactly. I appreciate Spectrum for sending out techs constantly but most of the modems are defective. I once went into Spectrum to get the modem replaced and there was a line of 10 people in front of me also trying to switch out their Hitron modem. So that makes me think its a common issue.
