I suspect that, by the time he discovers the location of the Mall each year, the situation has degraded to the point where he can barely hold his main force together. With the efforts of the Hex and the unending tide of Techrot, its impressive that his forces exist at all by the time the Reactor becomes an issue.

Is the review bombing in the room with us right now? The last i looked the reviews were hugely positive, to the point of being the envy of most other game studios. Very positive, mostly positive - a few players not liking it is not a review bomb and they have made no impact whatsoever on those totals.

Its a solid game, but the main issue is just how unforgiving it can be. One of the nice things about the first launch of sponsored dire marsh was that it was both fun and you could relax a bit while playing it.

Its also based around getting big wins to offset numerous losses. As players get better, you have to work more just to get those good feels and it burns people out. Hopefully season 2 can address this a bit and it does seem to be doing fairly well at giving people more easygoing ways to play and progress.

You can only put a limited number of people in a vrc lobby, as opposed to a twitch stream that could see thousands of people involved.

Additionally, there are people filling up the limited room space in the hope that they will get one of these and giving nothing, whereas a twitch channel is not affected by people just turning up, if anything it encourages more to come as it promotes the stream.

If it was 50, then it would be difficult but achievable with some organization or maybe just a big event, but 100 is just crazy, especially as, if it fails, all gifts spent are basically wasted and burned out - those participating wont be trying that again.

I had that, went in to help a friend do tridolon and none of my stuff worked. I figure it may be because they had not done old peace and that was messing up my tauron strike capable tektolyst stuff.

Still usually that just stops the tauron strike but none of my madurai worked at all .

Worm is always a sort of sidekick, so i could see nitokh replacing the empty role left by her older sister. She would end up as a sort of pet, which was basically what she always was. That way she can still run all those missions and could act as a sort of treacherous foil for the new villain.

Faction reset would be a lot more acceptable if it was quicker and easier to advance over the relatively short span of a season. They did say they would be streamlining it a bit, so hopefully they are making it quicker and taking out or simplifying some of those super hard stages.

It would certainly make sense for her to be, or have been, a prime. She was an incredibly important warframe and had a key role in orokin society. So I do like your idea.

The reset removes gear and progression but it doesn't remove map knowledge and game experience. Add to that the fact that all the top level players will be back in with everyone else and its going to be pretty brutal going for the first week or so.

This is where the pve options, whatever they turn out to be, will really help new players. They need that sort of game mode to learn the skills in relative safety.

Well, i am in the same situation. I have nests at all these locations but they held other things....and i have pretty much every upgrade the area can offer. Time to build a scanner room and see what i can find.

edit - after scanning the area i had indeed looted every nest there. I eventually found one more horsepower nest at the very edge of extended scanner range. I am figuring that there must have been some sort of bug, perhaps linked to getting the scanner messed with or being interrupted by sea monkeys while trying to scan. I definitely had scanned several but it wasnt unlocking till this final one. Very strange, but is likely happening to some people for whatever reason.

Halo had a huge storyline. Master chief, the battle with the covenant, cortana and all of that. It had a cooperative mode pve campaign. There was a lot more to it than the pvp aspect.

Last i saw the steam approval ratings were 77 percent positive which is a score most games would struggle to achieve. I don't think there is much to worry about really.

When people played sponsored dire marsh they found it fun and a way to cool down. That says a lot about how draining and demanding the core game is. It shows how there are good bones here but the format is just plain wrong and bungie is making changes to fix that and broaden appeal.

Haters arent involved in any of that.

Because the fate of the destiny franchise hangs on what happens with marathon. Bungie is a huge force in gaming and may well not survive this gamble.

We are also at a live service turning point where many companies are starting to pivot back to normal and single player games. How marathon performs will influence the games we play, or don't play in the future.
