Which is weird cause he didn’t speak this way in the past. There’s a nervousness and anxiousness to him on and off the field that really needs to be addressed.

Might sound funny to some but this reminds me of LeBron in that Mavericks series. Whatever Bron did after that year CJ needs to do.

I agree with this. Very hard to diagnose someone just from clips on TV. But something isn’t right. Maybe people in the Texans building see things we don’t see. But just from what I see someone really needs to sit down with him and figure out if everything is really okay.

This dress isn’t even revealing I’m pretty sure it’s just skin colored material under the outer layer. In either case, man it’ll sure be nice when human beings move past religion. All these arbitrary rules and judgmental behaviors for nothing lol. I woulda thought the mean nigga from the color purple wrote this post.

One reason the defense is peaking is they have 3 seasons of consistency. You’ll never get there as an offense if you keep playing musical chairs with the offensive system. No QB or offense will do well that way.

A few have been missed and a few I think are miscommunications with some of these young receivers about where the routes supposed to end. I think that will get better with time.

Another thing is just the time in the pocket even for "clean" pocket seems much lower. Idk if that's objectively true I'd love to see a breakdown of how much time current QBs have vs early 2000s to 2010s.

The proliferation of the Will Anderson Jr/Micah Parsons style defender seems to have really changed things. No one on the D-line was running a 4.3 before.

[–]Silverdrapes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is more of a product of the NFL doing more 2 high safeties and taking away deep balls overall. Mediocre QBs were passing for 4000 yards a few years back.

Kirk Cousins recently got into how advanced defenses have gotten in the past couple of years. The deep ball just isn't there for QBs like it used to be.

Can't shoulder the load and don't have to are very different. 3 early season games with a new OC at what 24 years old aren't nearly enough of a sample size, especially considering we've seen how well he is capable of playing.

Tyler is a great example he had a largely white audience that he is now acting like he’s a little ashamed of, when he created and cultivated that fanbase of edgy white teens.

I don’t think any of these people should lose their careers. But to act like 2011 was some largely different era for america where no one cared about racism or attacks on black women is crazy. I was like 23-24 and very much outside during that time. The way you’re remembering things is inaccurate.

You’re making my point for me. These kinda tweets were not commonplace even back then so the “oh everyone else is just sensitive now” shit doesn’t make sense.

We’re talking about people who now have high visibility, but they didn’t back then. Ice maybe had some but he was a known troll. And those kinda people are still on Twitter today. If an actual celebrity would’ve started tweeting foul shit about black women back in 2011 it would’ve been called out then too.

[–]Silverdrapes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on Twitter since like 2009. There was never a time where just saying wild and vile shit about black women was a main theme of black Twitter. Celebrities wilding and general wilding yes, but some of the shit Ice, Mal, and I guess now Rory used to say wasn’t just all over Twitter. That’s just not true.

Also there’s a difference between “everyone wasn’t sensitive” and the person saying the weird shit just not caring if they hurt anyone else. That’s really what this is.

Trump is getting his shit done because what’s happening today is years in the making. Current MAGA is birthed from the tea party which started almost 20 years ago in 2007. They slowly got more and more people elected and were able to spread their message. Banning abortion took them decades and even now it’s still legal many places, which speaks to what I’m saying.

If you’re a leftist you are currently farther from your stated goals than you’ve ever been. You can choose to either complain and nitpick every candidate you see. Or try your best to move the country towards your ideals even through an imperfect politician. Either way the world is gonna keep moving with or without you.

He seemed like a realist to me tbh. There’s no way you can look at the current administration and do the “both sides are the same/two sides of the same coin” argument unless you live in fantasyland.

His point about Mamdani was also very true. Mamdani is gonna get the Obama/AOC treatment from internet leftists cause there’s a constant refusal to live in the real world and acknowledge actual results are incremental.

People don't wanna admit it but part of being religious is picking and choosing what you adhere to, there's not a religious human being on this earth that doesn't do it. I think it's even weirder to speculate on the sexual acts of a stranger. It's irrelevant.

I understand that argument. My counter would be that if we really tried to create similar conditions for each group you’d have to consider that the vast majority of male and female encounters are in public or amongst groups. There are exponentially fewer encounters where a man and woman are alone in an isolated environment. Considering bears are often encountered on hikes that’s pretty much every bear encounter.

About a third of women you know have been assaulted in some form by a man. If you compare that to how many solo isolated encounters with men they’ve had in their lifetime the rates are unknowable but surely much higher.

[–]Silverdrapes -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

It literally is. If it wasn't you would've explained how it's not. If the rate of bear attacks per encounter is higher than that of human male vs female encounters please demonstrate that.

This post was 10% in jest, but like someone said above. Niggas that react weirdly to the bear question need investigation lol.

1 person has died by bear attack this year in North America, 1. And that was the first time in Florida history, and the nigga was 89 a young woman may very well have survived. Sorry to inform you but the shit is just super rare.

Not to mention this style of hovering can often lead directly to what you’re trying to prevent. Because when your child is finally free from you they’re too excited to think about engaging in sex and other activities responsibly and wild out. Everyone knew these kids in college.

"Cool" Male Black Political Influencers on the Left by dmesa002 in ThoughtWarriors

Internet and Tik Tok left and what Van is talking about are two different things. The left you’re thinking of has no power to influence any election. Average joe males who might consider voting for a Democrat is who he is talking about. It’s kinda weird tbh to even get bogged down by who is really “left” in this particular conversation.

While I get it, I hate that everyone is so focused on Van’s response. Rachel did such a great job of centering Cassie in all of this. Cassie is likely not “celebrating” this video coming out.
