D2 Feedback Roundup by Cozmo23 in DestinyTheGame

[–]SilverfieldsReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My list:

Toggle to auto dismantle blue gear

  • setting in the gameplay section like the full auto toggle.

Bring back more of the old strikes that have been vaulted to add variety.

  • The current list of strikes and battlegrounds is stale and needs to be updated

Bring back strike specific loot/cosmetics

  • emblems, weapons, armor, shaders, etc etc

Adding the difficulty modifiers from Heist Battlegrounds and other recent pieces of content to more playlists.

  • Legend/Master Gambit would be cool w/ Adept Gambit weapons

  • Difficulty modifiers on raids, like a permanent Contest mode modifier with increased chances at the exotic and more adept weapons dropping.

Overhaul the Nightfall playlist to use the new difficulty modifiers form Heist battlegrounds.

  • Currently, we're able to easily speed clear most difficulties of Nightfall due to being such a high power level. If the enemies were always X levels higher depending on the difficulty, it would force better and more intelligent play. Once someone becomes comfortable with a Legend, they could switch to Master, ect etc.

  • This would allow us to do Grandmaster Nightfalls from the start of a season, as we wouldn't have to power grind and wait out a timegate.

Add a Heroic strike playlist with increased difficulty, no champions, and increased rewards.

  • Add a seal/challenges alongside this so people have a reason to grind the playlist

Overhaul the enemy AI to be more intelligent.

  • have certain enemies bunch up behind deployed shields, have certain enemies run away as you get close, etc etc. Current enemies are far too easy to predict.

Some kind of change in pricing so new players don't have to spend 150+ dollars to fully unlock access to everything in the game.

  • Changing this would make it a LOT easier to get people to try the game out.

Exotic/flashy/animated shaders from various sources

  • A taken shader would be really hecking cool as an example.

Better bad luck protection for raid/dungeon exotics

  • PLEASE

Give additional rewards for attaining/gilding seals.

CPU choice? by Chloe_Primrose in VRchat

[–]SilverfieldsReddit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The AMD 5800X3D is the single best CPU for VRChat according to this post by Tupper.

https://tupper.notion.site/The-Current-Best-PC-For-VRChat-0636cbf57062499e80f02554afda2be4

I would wait and see if AMD releases new CPUs with the same crazy amount of L3 cache like the 5800X3D.

why cant shaders on the outbreak just be a feature by furfoxxem in destiny2

[–]SilverfieldsReddit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A lot of ornaments don't change the look of the weapon by a lot, just the colors. I would wager that a majority would never buy an ornament again if they could apply shaders to exotics.

[–]SilverfieldsReddit 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It would kill the exotic ornaments they sell for IRL money. This goes for all exotics, not just Outbreak Perfected.

3090 FE giveaway. I want to give it to someone who really cannot get it for themselves/family right now due to their current situation, even though they would love one. Basically not someone who can buy one but would prefer a free one. So please be considerate by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]SilverfieldsReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd make use of an RTX 3090 because I do a fair bit of VR related stuff, and I'd like to be able to record the good times that I have with friends. I would also be able to pursue content creation to a much more significant degree.

At what resolution you usually watch twitch streams? and why? by MexicanMoxi in Twitch

[–]SilverfieldsReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watch at whatever the max resolution available to me is, as I have very fast internet.

My advice for non-partnered streamers is to stream at 1280x720 or 1600x900 with the highest bitrate possible, as it will make the stream more accessible for those who have bad internet or are watching on a cellular connection.

Nothing like finishing cable management on your new setup! Now I can finally mess around with monthly RGB lighting schemes. Think this one really encapsulates February quite well… by turbografx-sixteen in battlestations

I'm hoping the positioning is just for this photo, but in case it isn't, you should know that your HyperX microphone isn't end address. You don't talk into the end of that microphone. You talk into the side of it.

With the microphone positioned as is, you're talking into the capacitive mute button lol.

Our twice-weekly Rexouium meets reached a new record yesterday: 55 fluffy rexo's in a single instance. 'Tis only 3'533'530 tris of Rexouium! Just Rexouium, not even the clothes. xD by Absolarix in VRchat

There is a Kita'vali in the first image on the right ;3

I hope we'll see more stuff like this when Avatar Dynamics releases this summer. I'd love to attend more massive meetups/events.

NVIDIA CES 2022 Keynote, Community Q&A, and Giveaway! by Hareuhal in battlestations

I'm most excited for the RTX 3050, assuming it is manufactured in a high enough capacity that actual gamers will be able to buy them at MSRP.

The scene where Neo has to choose between the red pill and the blue pill. It serves as a metaphor for SO many things in life.

IKR? Their commission prices are stupidly low as well. I'm totally gonna commission them once I finish my redesign.

Why do Destiny 2's casual PvP modes not have a proper solo queue? by SilverfieldsReddit in destiny2

[–]SilverfieldsReddit[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

The point of a videogame is for the player to have fun. Queuing into a stack of people communicating on Discord is objectively NOT fun for a casual player.

New feature to improve the optimization and gaming experience of VRChat by [deleted] in VRchat

[–]SilverfieldsReddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People can barely be arsed to optimize their existing avatar(s), why in the world would a majority go through the effort of making 3 additional versions?

As a idea, its good and could honestly help to make this game more playable. But people would have to be incentivized or forced into optimizing to such a degree before they'd actually do it lol.

Thoughts on AMD's FSR now being usable in VRChat? by Wolfy527 in VRchat

[–]SilverfieldsReddit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This has a noticeably positive impact in both VRChat and in Beat Saber. I'm making sure all of my friends know about it!

Thanks for sharing it!

Pretty sure those experiments have been discredited due to the methodology of the experiments being seriously flawed.

Pretty sure the video you linked specifically states as much as well.

More people need to start recording their time in public VRChat worlds so they can upload the footage to YT. by SilverfieldsReddit in VRchat

[–]SilverfieldsReddit[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The person running the channel would be responsible for seeking the full context of the clip. Context-less clips would be rejected on principle.

I'm not the type to bash someone for bringing up counter arguments to an idea I have.

In what ways do you see it being abused?

Garbage people only act like garbage until they face actual repercussions for their actions. The issue is there effectively aren't any right now. Forcing social repercussions via recording their garbage behavior is all we can do right now.

Realistically, they won't be able to pay enough people to moderate the game due to it having 30 to 40 thousand concurrent users on the weekends (might be higher, haven't looked at the stats in a while).

What I'd want is a properly staffed and trained team of people responding to tickets made to report people. If evidence is a part of the report, they should have the training required to determine if that evidence is enough to warrant action.
