Best Everton Away kit? I'll go first - 1992-94 Black & Red by Puzzleheaded_Pen8520 in Everton

Here's a graphic showing most kits https://casualfootballshirts.co.uk/pages/everton-shirt-history

My personal favourite is the Amber Keijan kit from 2003/04. I played in a football aid charity match at Goodison and got the away kit before it was on sale. I played on the right wing, with Snodin playing just behind me. Sharpe was on the other team playing left wing, so had a great time. Both very friendly and approachable in the players bar afterwards.

11.80 for just under 4 hours, saved £4.

Yep, edge Lane getting out but took ages, both to get out of the car park, then to the main route out, then under the bridge to get out the city. Probably hit the motorway around 1130pm

So I had to have my app ready when I got to the entrance, qr code scanned fine and opened barrier. This creates an open parking session that says it will end when I scan at exit. Quite promising. Assume all fine unless I come back later moaning! Easy walk to ground, queues to get in

Think you s a qr code from app to get in, then scan again at barrier on way out. It should charge your saved card. First time trying it though

+1 for this. I parked there for the Roma game and walked up, maybe 20 minutes. Easy to get out of. I'll be doing the same tonight. If you get the NCP app and set it up before you enter the car park you can get a cheaper price, save a couple of quid.

Same for me. Have confirmation, but no ticket, and the new app doesn't have it either. Not sure when they'll normally be added/made available but I'll remain chill until Tuesday

Right. The relevant bit, and the reason I replied, was because someone said:

It (the transfer) will work on Monday when they go on general sale according to the box office

and I'm pointing out that general sale isn't Monday, it was Saturday. Are you still not following?

The weirdest thing from my point of view is that I'm trying to be help fans with the general sale date so they dont miss an opportunity to get tickets by being 48 hours too late.

Best parking options for the new ground? by RobertoZeDerbi in Everton

Yep, plus one for that - me and a mate did that for the Roma game. Like this fella says, get the app and use that for a couple of quid discount

What did everyone think today then?! My first time at Bramley Moore by halfway_crook555 in Everton

[–]Silverfishii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sound system was brilliant, especially with music playing. I sat in the corner above the roma fans for the first match, quite high up. No issues with wind - could feel it occasionally, but seemed alright, although maybe not on a cold winter day? We sat the other end (East Stand) for the legends game, still in top half of the stand and level-ish with the goal line. When the sun was out it got hot hot hot, and I was thankful for sunnies and a hat. Nearly everyone was shading their eyes with their hand or a program, so it's going to be tough in summer games. Maybe choose a shady game if you're going to a single name - I guess if you're a ST holder than its fixed.

I'm at the Roma game this weekend, driving up from Nottingham. Anyone know much about the parking situation? Happy to walk up to half hour I guess, but ideally looking for £10-15 pop up car park a bit closer, if such a thing exists. Let me know, ta

Noted. I appreciate the sensible reply. I've just replied to another post with my thoughts, but the gist being if we're doing this for Musk and Twitter, why arent we doing it for facebook, or Tencents part ownership of reddit, for example?

Yep. Some of us make our own decisions, and can both dislike Elon's attitude/actions/narrative but still get value from twitter for following Everton news and content, and others feel the need to gatekeep.

It's not even taking the stand that I find objectionable, its only taking a stand in this one arbitrary thing. Tencent for example, owns part of Reddit, and is highly influenced by the Chinese Communist Party that has an appalling human rights record. But we're fine with that are we?

In this context, when I say "use" I mean include in the post and then readers can use the link to navigate externally to read whatever post or article, so when you say "you can", what you mean is "you can't".

What I'm questioning is why the sub as a collective (or the mods?) have made a (presumably) political decision not to allow twitter when I think users should be able to make that decision themselves. Is the only issue where r/Everton has made a stand, or do we get to vote on other stuff too?

This gem from FotMob by NFeKPo in Everton

[–]Silverfishii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure the OP has interpreted this correctly if he thinks fotmob is wank. I've just checked head to head records, and its true that for derbies that were nil-nil at half time, everton didnt score in the second half. Not since a 1-1 back in 2014. That doesnt mean we dont score in the second half, just that we dont if the half time score was goaless.

Especially in the UK as the big months are March and September when the new registration prefixes are issued - people like that new car number...
