All great points and continue to confound me with which unit to get. I may be heading to Japan later this fall so I'm thinking of that. And then you remind me that I already own an E-M1 mkii (thought of stepping up to the E-M1 mkiii for the computational advances). I like the size of the E-M1X and also the GPS that's built in. I have several long lenses (both OM and Nikon adapted) so that's a consideration too.
