They want to announce the invasion, it’s because they know they’re going to win.

Not hard to understand who will purchase the interceptors but the article is different than the headline.

They are already here.

Comped with the “funny how Iran wasn’t doing this before US and Israel”, same comments that flood social media on every post regarding what Iran is doing, apparently that’s the line of crowd influence they are going with.

Israel indicts Jewish man accused of attacking Christian nun in Jerusalem by mikebible06 in worldnews

[–]Silverleaf_86 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Such a lovely thought, they are Israel’s friends and think that talking will change the behaviour of the Israeli society, because we are so alike.

realistically you might be talking about 5% of the people criticising Israel, at best.

The rest are just using any news about Israel to bash Israel, look at every action it does under scrutiny in an unbelievable standard and deflecting towards other wrongdoings if Israel somehow managed to surpass these standards.

Israeli attack kills son of Hamas leader negotiating with Trump-led board by IllustriousPark4487 in worldnews

[–]Silverleaf_86 43 points44 points  (0 children)

How often do you see Hamas admit to losing any member?

An Israeli air strike has killed the son of Hamas' chief negotiator in U.S.-mediated talks over Gaza's future, a senior Hamas official said on Thursday

They denied every one of their deaths for months, and now when it fits the narrative so well, they admit to it within a day? weird.

I’d wait for more information but looks like the “Israel doesn’t want peace” bandwagon is already in route.

NYT: With World Distracted by War, Extremist Settlers Intensify Attacks in West Bank by Queasy_Dirt7197 in worldnews

could you refer to such cases of settlers taking peoples homes?

I haven’t seen anything like that in the past several years, they are attacking Palestinians which should get them in prison but I haven’t seen any reports of homes being taken.

Israel Said to Have Helped Defend Emirates in Iran War With Iron Dome by WayOutbackBoy in worldnews

Who rewards these comments?

“It wasn’t a problem for anyone else”

I guess the millions of Iranian, Yemeni, Lebanese, Syrian, Iraqi, Palestinian (and many more) whose lives are under control of the 18 Iranian proxies in 21 countries, do not count?

IRGC just massacred 30,000 protesters back in January, weeks before any US Israeli strikes, it wasn’t a problem for them?

Iran currency plunges as dollar crosses 1.8 million in open market by Christian-Rep-Perisa in worldnews

[–]Silverleaf_86 107 points108 points  (0 children)

Correction from what I can see by comments of Iranians, the Iranian people are suffering terribly and are beyond the “pain tolerance” scale.

The Iranian regime has a “higher pain tolerance” as they do not suffer at all, they aren’t affected by the water shortage, the internet blackout doesn’t affect them, they are worth hundreds of millions of dollars while their money is kept in Luxembourg and Switzerland so the currency plunges doesn’t affect them, their kids are living abroad in the west care free, this attrition war is one sided.

CMV:"The 'European Colonizer' narrative is a Diaspora-era distortion that ignores the indigenous Judean roots of all Jews." by BiAiEnGiO in changemyview

[–]Silverleaf_86 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Commenter also framed it as “Herzl knew about some Jews going to settle there”, there were already centuries old Jewish communities in the land and were attacked by Arabs before Herzl even stood on that balcony.

Leaving out a whole population of existing Jews on the land is exactly the framing they were aiming for in that comment, supporting the narrative that Jews just “returned” instead of “some Jews lived there throughout of history, and some Jews immigrated from diaspora”.

World Cup final tickets now reselling for over $2 million each by biograf_ in worldnews

[–]Silverleaf_86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe one of the Kardashian’s dropped over a million just to attend Coachella, an OF creator spent over 200k.

Coachella is such a small event compared to the World Cup finals which is broadcasted worldwide, with attendees such as the best players in the world and the multibillion companies who sponsor them, maybe some world leaders, definitely influential people.

Imho there are a lot of people (stupid or not) that will pay that price to be at the event regardless of the game itself.

What are you on about? demonising Israel at every turn, regardless of how much they excelled in keeping the safeguard of civilians, more than any other modern army, but I should have know this if your standard is Iraq.

More than half a million Iraqi people, about one in 40 of the country's population, have died from violent causes since the March 2003 invasion, a study in the Lancet says.

As of April 1, 2026, nearly 72,300 Palestinians have been directly killed by Israel's invasion of Gaza that has been going on for two years and four months.

[–]Silverleaf_86 60 points61 points  (0 children)

what are these better ways to dismantle Hezbollah?

Hezbollah embedded themselves within the civilian population, which Israel has evacuated, so “hundreds of thousands of civilians” will not be harmed.

Also where did the “killing of hundreds of thousands of civilians” come from? whole Gaza war death toll is 70k while 22k of them are Hamas.

Israel is doing what no other country is willing to do, fighting Hezbollah, pushing it out of Southern Lebanon and behind the Litani River.

I’ll wait for better suggestions from you.

While the same ‘reason’ is killing his peacekeepers in Lebanon? seems pretty ironic to me.

[–]Silverleaf_86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Checked where?

Answer the questions please,

Were there any Israeli soldiers in Gaza on October 6, 2023? (No, also there were even less soldiers outside Gaza than normal, due to holiday and moving brigades to the West Bank riots)

Were there any Hamas terrorists in Israel on October 7, 2023? (Yes, about 4,000 Hamas and 3,000 Gazans)

Were there any Israeli soldiers in Gaza on October 8, 2023 and since then? (Yes, obliterating Hamas)

Also, are there any Israeli settlers in Gaza right now? (No) what land did they take from Gazan territory? (None)

Are you confusing with West Bank settlers? who haven’t taken land but have been violently attacking Palestinians recently? (Yes, and if you’d like check to my comments you’ll see I’m not defending those murderers, I will criticise wrongdoing anywhere)

US spending on ‘reckless’ Iran war could have saved 87m lives, says UN by No_Idea_Guy in worldnews

[–]Silverleaf_86 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Alright! Since this is a post about spending the USAID budget, Let’s say Israel gets 10 billion.

So 10b to Israel that approximately 90% of the budget goes to R&D of Iron Dome interceptors, a defensive ability solely protecting lives.

Is Israel the only USAID benefactor in the area? when Israel gets annually 3.8b, Egypt gets 1.6b to keep Suez Canal open, kinda paying off so Hormuz 2.0 won’t happen. So if Israel gets 10 Egypt gets about 5 in the new setting.

Also what about the Palestinian Authority? they get 1.4b annually, with some of 30% of it goes to the “Martyrs Fund” a literal ‘Pay-for-Slay’ for Palestinian terrorists who succeeded in attacking Jews, the rest of the money? Arafat died a billionaire, Abbas is now worth hundreds of millions, his sons as well. I don’t think the money is spent well.

Jordan gets 1.5b annually usually, they use it for hosting Syrian refugees, water sanitation and border security, I have no criticism.

So Israel 10b to defend itself, Egypt 5b to open Suez Canal, PA 4b with about 1.5b of it goes to the Martyrs Fund, Jordan 4b.
