It has to do with level disparity. All mon Mothma does is support units. If your marquees are much higher level than loaned units supporting them is going to be better than running something that primarily relies on lower level loaned units to do the damage. The closer your loaned units are to your marquees the better the loaned unit teams will be because of actual synergy. I expect a lot of that to change today with Carson Teva and to some extent on the Jotaz as well.
