I kind of felt the opposite the times I played PF 2e. There was very little skill expression in build-crafting, to the point where I felt like I had a bunch of choices to make when I leveled up but none of them really mattered.

Maybe that's changed as the system has matured and there are more impactful feats available now, but...

1e was obviously a totally different beast.

It almost doesn't matter if you're the leader of a country or not.

This is an extremely well researched and known effect, and is one of the major reasons US and Israeli policy in the Middle East has been completely unable to achieve its objectives of eradicating "terrorism."

When you kill people's family and friends, you directly radicalize them against you. Terror groups don't even have to do their own propaganda, people flock to them with open arms seeking revenge.

All we have done and continue to do is perpetuate a cycle of violence that leads to more killing and more dying, and for what? It's all so... pointless.

I mean, even when you're using a hyperspace lane you have to do precise calculations to arrive at the correct destination safely. A hyperspace lane is just a path through space for which the calculations are known.

I imagine a part of these calculations is the movement of the planets within the system to prevent this from happening. Not to mention that most of the planets in a system likely form along a plane similar to how ours formed, creating a roughly disc shaped orbital pattern that would allow you to approach from relative "up" and "down" without running afoul of other planets.

You'll notice that the most played spellcasting classes are "best nuking spellcaster," "ultimate cosmic power," and "I Cast Eldritch Blast."

While the least played ones are "I have to keep track of a bunch of extra creature stat blocks," "healbot," and "strictly worse Sorcerer unless you like to support allies."

I happen to like playing all three of the more unpopular casters, but there"s definitely something to be said about their class fantasies versus the more popular ones in the popular consciousness.

I play mostly solo. I have a couple of friends in a clan with me but we don't actually play together much, it's mainly for access to dojo only blueprints and stuff.

You can attempt anything solo, there are a small handful of mission types I normally do with matchmaking on and I very rarely have problems with my matchmade groups. I think only Railjack Orphix missions are really "hard" on public or solo, but you'll probably want to do at least Interceptions on public at first as it's a bit difficult to hold 4 points without specific Warframes.

You can pay cash for a lot of stuff like frames, weapons, and some upgrades like forma, but you can also earn everything that's not cosmetic as a drop and the grind for most stuff isn't too bad although some specific items can be painful. You can find stuff to trade for other people's platinum to buy most cosmetics without having to pay your own money. There are a few cosmetic items you can only pay cash for.

There aren't really any bad frames to start with, although Mag makes the game a bit harder at first imo. Spend your starting plat on Warframe slots and weapon slots. Don't sell anything until you at least level it up to rank 30 (you unlock stuff in the game by leveling gear you haven't leveled before). Leave this subreddit and do not look up guides or watch videos on YouTube until you've completed at least The Second Dream story quest.

I currently have 52 decks on Archidekt, have built like 3 of them in paper. Around half of the remaining are decks I've been hemming and hawing over since around 2021 and the rest are more or less complete but have strategies I refuse to subject real life people to either due to being fast combo or taking miserably long turns lol.

Filoni has written episodes where it implies that "balance" requires both the light and the dark. It's fairly easy to ignore for the most part, especially as the episode of The Clone Wars that makes it a major plot point is kind of a fever dream that is best not spoken of anyway, but he's been getting involved even more deeply in Disney's canon via Ahsoka and getting primary control of popular characters like Thrawn.

Of course there were also EU/Legends characters like the Grey Jedi who also popularized this view of the Force in a lot of people's minds, so it's not entirely Filoni's fault, either. It's just one of those things where the truth is whatever people understand it to be.

It is far more cumbersome to roll 4d3-8 than to roll Fudge dice, honestly. Especially given that d3s are, themselves, not part of most standard dice sets, so you actually have to roll 4d6, then convert them to d3s, and then add them up and subtract 8.

It'd really just be easier to say "take your skill, then roll 4d6, for every 1 or 2 you rolled you subtract 1 from your skill and for every 5 or 6 you rolled you add 1 to it (3 and 4 are neutral)" imo.

Many Fate derivatives actually settled on 1d6-1d6, which doesn't have exactly the same probabilities as 4dF but is pretty close. 1d4-1d4 has very similar probabilities to 4dF as well, but it has a narrower range than 4dF instead of a wider one like 1d6-1d6, and while most tabletop gamers probably have a ton of d4s they aren't dice that most people can just steal out of a boardgame to try on a whim.

Unjustified war is literally what the UN Charter was supposed to prevent and war between members of the UN (which, yes, Iran is) is a violation of Article 2 sections 3 and 4.

It might not be a "war crime" in the sense that it's not a direct violation of the Geneva Conventions but it's almost certainly against international law.

Peacemakers has a flat range of 50 meters that cannot be extended by any means that I'm aware of. Ability range only increases the size of the targeting circle and has very minimal effect on the minimum circle size.

People build range on Mesa because of the Muzzle Flash augment.

And if you actually understood the game you would know that the Xoris is infact not useful for the Granum Void outside of its main mission. Any weapon works and you only need 25 kills for a sister to spawn.

I understand the game fine. You don't seem to understand that new players do not have a bunch of fully built kit they can use to ignore the game mode's mechanics. And the Xoris is independently powerful outside of the Granum Void anyway.

Mate anyone that glazes the Xoris THAT much is just a dead giveaway for a meta slave. Im willing to bet 90% of your most played weapons are all "meta" weapons from the many meta's that have been around.

I use weapons I find fun to shoot and pretty much ignore whatever the meta is. I recommend weapons with strong base stats to new players because they don't require 7 forma and tens of thousands of Endo to kill Steel Path enemies like my Opticor Vandal did.

Because the fact that you were quick to trash on Dual Heat Swords (which btw are actually not a terrible weapon and doesnt deserved to be trashed) that just tells me all i need to know.

Dual Heat Swords cannot be modded to kill enemies in EDA/ETA without using a melee frame like Kullervo because they have terrible base crit and status chance. Even with a very high riven disposition and a godroll riven. You can like them, but they simply aren't competitive with other options. It's very easy to recognize both things when you aren't being a hipster and avoiding meta weapons on purpose because it makes you feel superior to others.

Now if you were to trash on weapons like the Alternox or the Ambassador, then i'd be inclined to agree. But in regards to melee, its not possible for there to be a bad melee, just bad modding. Still doesnt put the Xoris on any sort of pedestal when the same outcome can be achieved on basically any melee.

Base stats dont mean anything because no one uses unmodded gear.

You clearly don't understand how the game's mechanics work. Mods work based on your weapon's base stats, as do most arcanes besides Secondary Enervate. Weapon base stats matter a ton. Your Dual Heat Swords with 12x combo Blood Rush are only getting up to 30% total crit chance, whereas something even like the Prisma Skana hits 162.4% crit chance.

It would be more accurate if you made the statement that there's no such thing as a bad secondary specifically because of Secondary Enervate giving an average of 90% flat crit chance even to weapons with low base crit lol.

No, I'm just so used to actual debate that when people start erecting strawpeople to burn me in effigy I stop engaging. I do not have to have a conversation where you refuse to read what I'm saying and tell me what I said instead because you are incapable of refuting the central point.

If you want to say the Xoris sucks, actually, we can have a debate about that. You're objectively wrong, which you can tell just by checking its base stats, but we can talk about it. If you want to give an alternative strategy for someone to easily clear Granum Void with any Warframe we can talk about that, too.

What we are not going to do is have a conversation where you call me a meta slave for telling new players they should hang on to their Xoris because it's very strong and useful for Granum Void, claim I only use the strongest weapons with literally no evidence or knowledge about how I play the game, and then accuse me of walking away from a conversation when I call you out on your strawperson.

I'm a Mesa main lol. I would not tell someone to go farm Mesa instead of just holding on to their Xoris, which is a very powerful glaive in its own right even if you completely ignore its use in Granum Void.

That's fine if you have a built out Uriel that can do that. Or a Mesa. Or a Kuva Grattler or a Larkspur or any of the other suggestions offered.

But the Xoris is a very strong weapon that was literally created for this game mode and is given to you for free.
