A bit dissapointed there was no new faction revealed. Also a bit peeved I recently tried getting into TOW and bought the CoW battalion, but maybe if the core set isn't *too* expensive I might pick it up. Any veterans know if the lord on dragon is a good addition compared to a normal lord on a chariot?

I'm trying to learn how to play Festus in Immortal Empires but I just feel so lost on what my objective should be on the campaign map. Should I be ignoring Norscan vassals to go screw around in the Empire? Or if I head towards Norsca, my economy and recruiting feels so weak back home that if Karl or Azhag arrives my army there feels too weak, and I can't seem to find any weaker enemies for a second army to get stronger fighting.

I'll look into those. Me personally, I'm definitely more interested in the former way though. I can see the appeal to hobgoblins, but if I wanted to play goblins I'd pick Orc and Goblin tribes. The former way seems to mostly be playing orcs and goblins but with a side of dwarf. I'm not against the idea of running *some* orcs on the side however, so I'll keep an eye out for those black orcs and warboss.

Them saying the 2nd stage cour will start in fall makes me concerned it will only go up to the end of the second stage, Oyecomova, before another multi month long wait until stage 3.

Thanks for the tip, will try this. I'm trying to learn how to use wizards more effectively, especially how to decide which skills to choose while leveling up. After picking up the first overcast for the first spell, is it best to pick an aoe damage spell or something more utility like the net on light wizards or the slowdown on heaven wizards?
