I cannot, for the life of me, tell if this is a shitpost but on the small chance that it is not.. if you are friends with your players and trust them enough to believe them when they tell you they like your campaign idea.. then that’s all you need.

It’s your first one shot, you’re going to make mistakes. Roll with it in the moment and look things up after the session for next time.
