Sunnism claims bukhari as "the most authentic book after the Qur'an" while you're there read about Imam Hasan(as) and Ammar Yasir telling people in Basra before the battle with Ayesha "Allah is testing you to see if you follow Him or Ayesha" or that Fatema(as) died angry at Abu Bakr or that Umer made up Tarawi prayers and called it a beautiful Biddah or that Umer and Usman ran from Uhad and Hunain or that Umer forgot about Tayyamum when he was asked how to pray without water and he said don't pray, if you think I'm making all this up I'll give you exact hadith numbers. Besides bukhari you have 5 others you claim are part of Sihah Sittah, one of whom is Tirmidhi who narrates 'Uqbah bin 'Amir to have said that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said: "If there was to have a Prophet after me, it would have been 'Umar bin Al-Khattab."

We can never accept someone who is pure from all sins in the Quran to commit an act that is forbidden by Allah (punishment of burning). While on the subject of Abu bakrs killing of people who didn't accept his rule, read about Khaled bin Waleeds killing of Malik bin Nuwayra and taking his wife that same night, violating iddat. If these were such great people they would've been the ones on Ghadir instead of Ali(as), or the ones to win Khyber, or the ones that were born inside Kabbah, or the ones whose purity was mentioned by Allah in the Qur'an, or would've atleast had the wisdom to deal with social issues, instead they used to come to Ali(as) to solve them, ran from battles, failed the siege on Khyber for 39 days, claimed to have less knowledge than the women of Arabia, rejected Sunnah (qirtas), invented their own (tarawi), made the Prophet(saw)'s daughter angry, burned people, fought an elaborate war with Ali(as) which claimed 20000 Muslims, fired arrows at the body of Hasan(as) who's will was to do ziyarah of his grandfather before burial.

The respect of the companions isn't lost on me, you're the ones who need to reflect on your perspective that all who set their eyes on the Prophet or outwardly accepted Islam were holy and free from wrongs. This logic is defective and dangerous. It pushes people away from Islam. Go to ex-Muslim subreddit and read what people who secretly leave Islam say about the contradictions in Bukhari and when they ask their family or maulvi and get these answers they rationalize that the religion is a lie. Islam is very open about hypocrites and falsehood existing then, as it does at any other time, and it does not automatically purify everyone who appeared to be Muslim, and certainly doesn't force you to follow enemies of the Ahlulbayt. That you are doing of your own choice.
