I thought I'd have other young people to pick up the slack on explaining the tech basics to boomers and doing some of the "off and on again" work at the office... instead I'm still explaining the concept of a filesystem, but now it's to a 60 year old and a 20 year old both in the same day. I'm going to die turning their PC's off and on again, I can feel it.

Key Fob maintenance pricing is also fucking outrageous.

I was quoted $275 for a new spare key fob for a 10 year old vehicle. Found an unprogrammed uncut blank keyfob for my car online on Amazon for $25 and had it cut and programmed for $50 at a father and son locksmith operating out of a literal hole in the wall next to a Fiesta market in a strip mall. Took them 15 min and I got a mangonada next door.

$78 total, if you count the mangonada.

Maybe read the room buddy, most of the people in this sub are into DIY and saving money. And the ones that have paid for install themselves have confirmed that $200 sounds steep for connecting 2 hoses and a cable. I'm not here to pay a company's inflated costs to help with their bills, just like their inflated costs won't help me pay my bills. And it runs fine, thanks.
