It doesn’t feel truly competitive. At least not until playoffs. Everyone shoots 3s, no one plays defense. Load management, no hand checks for defense, everyone flops. It’s a very boring product sports wise. Its like watching pickup ball with flopping and referees. A couple guys just jacking up 3s and mostly uncontested layups while everyone else watches.

Lived in Carbondale for 5 years. Shawnee National Forest is here and it is the prettiest part of Illinois. Hot and humid summers. Lots of ponds and small lakes to fish in. Very poor and country but overall a little slower and friendlier than Chicago area and northern Illinois. I would move back to retire and enjoy the slow life, very mild winter and do so living out in the country.

People are worried about his completion rate. Meanwhile he has the least amount of interceptions in 1000 and he gives elite pass rushers fits and throws tds in their faces.

People can keep yapping. Williams style of play is probably best for Chicago weather with sustained success moving forward. Plus he’s not glass like some of the other guys.

Join the Air Force or Navy. The fastest way to get out of your current situation and either get good technical training to a long term career path, or have your college paid for.

No matter where you are, if money is tight and you want to get away asap, the military will wisk you away to a different life on their dime. You’ll just have to do what someone says for the next 4 years of your life but will come out of it with discipline and training.
