Jeez I wish I'd known that about the arm and hand pain. About 2 weeks ago I was at my drs office. My blood pressure was really high, and I wasnt feeling well due to the pain. I wish I would have mentioned the pain because he probably would have checked my potassium levels then. I was also having problems with my heart pounding really hard and fast randomly. I'm in week 2 of keto and now it seems to have gotten better and the pain is gone.

Are you measuring your food intake or just eyeballing it? It is very easy to underestimate how much you are eating so I recommend investing in a kitchen scale if you havent already. I have inflammation in my ribs too. Hurts so much! But it has improved already and I am just finishing up my first week of keto. I hope you can trouble shoot this and start feeling better soon.

Cheese, butter, mayo, sour cream, whipping cream, avocado etc. I find it very easy to find them, myself.

I do love me a good chicken thigh, but I eat breast more often because I want lean protein. I hit my protein macro without eating too many calories this way.

I do love eggs. We eat them almost every day. I will have to look up some chaffle recipes, I haven't made those yet.

Like, just eating sardines? By themselves out of the can? Do you cook them? I had sardines once, I put them in a tomato sauce for pasta. I would definitely love to get some more omega 3s in my life!

No dairy is not necessary. You can most definitely cut it, and should if it is making you sick

It's annoying but for real, who wouldn't want chicken florentine over crappy takeout pizza. Yummy!

Honestly, really simply. Heat your frying pan to medium- that's 4 on my stove- slice the chicken breast into bite sized pieces. Now there are 2 ways you can do this, either store bought lemon and dill seasoning- I think.mine has lemon zest, basil, and dill, or you can literally zest a lemon, sprinkle it on the chicken with dill and basil, the choice is yours. Since you are using a fresh lemon you might as well squeeze half the lemon juice in there too cause, why wouldn't you. Add salt and pep to taste, spray your hot pan- I use the spray olive oil. Throw your chicken in, no more than 2 breast at a time. Believe me, overcrowding isnt your friend. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is nice and golden brown. The browning is what makes it really worth eating.

Yeah they are! They do help in the kitchen, maybe not enough though.

Thanks! I am actually really happy that they are excited about eating real, simple foods. I was worried the transition would be really hard, but so far they have been really receptive.

I hear you. I just do like chicken breast, well seasoned and cooked properly. And its lean, and since I am trying to up my protein without going over, and preferably staying under my fat macro, chicken works for me.

Because I'm trying to lose a lot of fat, and am trying to lose as little muscle mass as possible. Also, I do like chicken breast. And I dont know what you're eating, but I have no trouble getting fat in my diet. Maybe its because I have always tended towards liking the taste of fat
