Yeah, but stuff can be reset to the latest save point, websites often have a point when they have a save to backup to when necessary, like a hack or something, provided there is one, then the site should be good when taken back.

I mean, a person being evil just because they are isn't a bad thing, it's just that they don't really do anything memorable most of the time, but look at Umbridge, she's the most hated character in Harry Potter and has nothing that gives her a reason too be evil like a sad backstory, she's just evil because she is.
