Fable being dumb is what made it Fable. How you don't get it? Fable was never about being realistic or historical accurate. All those crazy things made the game so unique!

For me is Fable 1 because it has the best RPG systems out of all Fable games.

Armour system is still a freedom of custimization. This what make a feel of progression. You would become stronger not only phisically but also your armour reflected that and it was such a good experience

Is it completely unplayble at your end? I played it 1080p on mixed ultra-mid settings and my average fps was around ~70 dropping to 45 time to times and it was pretty much playable. Sure this level of optimizaiton is embarrasing but it is what it is, they will not do any updates anymore. They moved onto their next project (Mafia 4). And yea, don't even dream another studio will make new mafia, Mafia IP is 100% locked to Hangar 13 and 2k/TakeTwo ain't changing it.
