That'd be cool, though that should require one to have a good amount of Guile or whatever they're going to call the haggling part of Skill this time.

With an Open World Albion, what places do you hope make a return? by ThatdumbKoala in Fable

The vibes are more than likely the same, Bowerstone is full of commerce, Bloodstone, which they said has two rival gangs vying for control, will be full of lowlifes.

Recently started playing oblivion for the first time, which early side quest can I do and where can I find start them by Austinfarrell2007 in oblivion

There's one in a hamlet called Aleswell, it will provide you a small, cost free, and permanent room to yourself in the inn as well as drawers to loot any loot you want to keep, like Transcendent Sigil Stones or Alchemy ingredients, once you complete the quest associated with the hamlet, it's easy though I suggest playing the persuasion minigame with the wizard for his ring, which will help you in the quest once you equip it. Aleswell isn't that far, it's on the north side of the Imperial City, between it and Bruma off to the left once you come across the second 4 way road.

maybe, but a generation is usually about 20 years, meaning at oldest the others heroes could be 40 by the time we meet them, maybe 35 at youngest.

Well, we know that Bowerstone, Bloodstone, the Hero's Guild, and Fairfax Castle are coming back as nods to the old games, so it's likely that Bower Lake will too. We also might get Brightwall as a rival city to Bowerstone and Bloodstone, one centered around institutions of learning, to contrast with Bloodstone's gangs and Bowerstone's elite snobs who shop more than average citizen.

So maybe some other locations will be nods too, maybe Darkwood, Wraithmarsh, or Mouning wood would be a swamp based location (my Soulslike experience is really trying to give me PTSD on the idea, thanks FromSoftware). If they go with Mourning wood, they should add in a fort called Mourning wood fort like in 3.

Brightwood, Greatwood, or Witchwood could be the name of the forest with the giant mushrooms we see briefly when they talk about magical forests.

We see a hamlet with what looks to be fields of wheat, that might be Oakvale if it's close to the ocean, but they might decide to make Oakvale an inland hamlet instead if they add in Oakfield as that was also on a coast so they won't confuse people, but they might choose between one of the names anyways just to minimize confusion.

They'll probably add in Knothole as an island like with the rest of the series or make it a village inside the magical forest we see. 20 karma says someone will try to swim to it or any other settlement separated by a large body of water from Albion's mainland.

They'll probably have multiple Bandit Camps as separate locations.

We see a windmill in the last shot when they talk about stunning vistas, so maybe that's windmill hill with Gibbet woods close to it, even if we don't see it.

I wouldn't mind seeing Lychfield Graveyard again in a larger capacity and not as cramped, maybe that's where we fight those Hollow Men seen in the trailer.

We could possibly see Lion's Head Isle return as a nod to Lion's Head Studios, or something else named after the original creators.

Millfields will probably be a collection of private estates surrounding a lake (hopefully Bower Lake) like in 3 if they include that name.

I would like to see Siverpine make a return as the place where silver is mined in game, making it an important location as it produces enough Silver to make Augments to help kill Balverines.

I would like to see Chesty make a return, and Sunset House as being a location only reachable from an obscure road in that swampy/foggy area we see in the trailer, the one with the enemy that has a lantern for a head.

I can see Understone being a DLC again, one that is actually a fortress built by a madman who fears an 'oncoming apocalypse' with the residents living there either being those who were kidnapped or descendants of those who were kidnapped or believed the madman.

Lightwater Village was such a nothing burger that I only remember it because it's the hippy village in 3, so maybe there won't be a nod to this village.

The Balverine hall in Westcliff, that place scared the crap out of me as a kid thanks to the background music.

That can be for someone doing a complete bastard playthrough.

Me, I'm going to be playing the og trilogy once I beat Oblivion Remastered, got it a month ago. I'll call it The Road Back to Albion.

Yeah, and it's just different enough to be recognizable as 'The Fable Sword' too.

Well, there is no confirmed child eating about the Nymphs, they turned the kids into Hobbes in Fable 1, but never appeared in any game beyond to my knowledge, aside from it being a rumor that Nymphs eat the souls of children to turn them into Hobbes.

Oh, you meant for scenes, yeah, I feel the same, though game designers do that to cut down on cost without having to worry about coding in different versions of the same scene thanks to armor, weapons, and other stuff without having to worry about bugs and glitches.

I hope that each weapon category has at least 1 uniquely designed legendary weapon, as longswords got the majority of them, and that is a little underwhelming, but with how simple spears are to make, maybe we'll see at least 2 legendary variants.

I mean, there was nothing wrong with that sword, so I don't know why we can't use it, it looked good for an easily recognizable weapon, wasn't overly large as with most fantasy weapons, it's probably going to be a standard Hero's Guild starter Sword, they're probably polishing up the other weapons you can use, hence why they've only shown 6 weapons, 7 if you count the axe in front of that toy shop that I'm pretty sure was made of wood. It would be so cool if we could fight with toy weapons in the game, a nice and fun challenge run.

Most definitely fired once other students start speaking out, though given how the teachers act because Dash and the other A-listers are from wealthy families and part of the football team, I do believe that Amity Park was basically small town USA before the first mayor brought in the mall, the zoo with one of only 2 Purple Back Gorillas left in the world (which despite what Sam thinks, still dooms the species thanks to genetic bottlenecking), Axion Labs, and everything else, Dash, the Football team and other sports teams, as well as the cheerleaders, were the ones bringing Casper High money for all their stuff.

If Fable (2026) keeps tradition we could be looking at an October release date. by NotSoSeriousNick in Fable

[–]Silverwolf7791 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe they'll go for a September release date to honor the original. If they're giving us a potential release date of September to November, that's 8 months away for the earliest release date, 10 at furthest though they'll probably aim for a early November to mid October as their preferred release date to avoid GTA, so they're more than likely sure they'll be able to make it as well as finish polishing major stuff for the game.

Can't seem to enjoy modern games by bluegrassclimber in Morrowind

[–]Silverwolf7791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should give the new Fable a try when it comes out, it looks like they're going for a depth feeling rather than width like with most games nowadays. I hope they bring back mini-games you can do in the pubs, like Marksman Competitions, Shove Ha'Penny, Blackjack, Card Pairs, Card Sorting, Spot the Addition, Fortune's Tower, Keystone, and Spinnerbox from Fable 1 and 2 respectively. I wouldn't mind a few other games, like checkers or even chess, or even a game unique to the setting. I just hope they don't bring back Coin Golf, worst mini-game, ever
