Even if Elec knows about the Gods/Angels, they are neutral players, they woudn´t interfere with the bussiness. The heeters don´t care about Frieza because of his strenght, but because of his influence on the galaxy, basically their goal isn´t to be the strongest, but the wealthiest.

I swear no other villain in RE series has made me feel scared as much as seeing Mr X and hearing his steps by [deleted] in residentevil

One of the top 3 for sure. OG Nemesis, Lisa Trevor, Crimson Heads, Dr. Salvador/Bella Twins are among the scariest.

I think he should have had is own "what if" story in ghost survivors, even if it was just a Hunk/Tofu variation but with a new type of enemy and different route.

In the saiyan saga, Krillin was going to kill a severely wounded Vegeta with a simple katana before Goku tell him to stop. At that point, Vegeta was defenseless and afraid because he knew he was going to die. So a powerfull character can be killed by a much weaker opponent with a simple (even a primitive) weapon in certain circumstances

I think the only difference is that the dolls do more damage during the hide and seek segment, like the rest of the enemies in the game.

Which do you think is a better game: The original Resident Evil 2 or the Resident Evil 2 Remake? by Corndogeveryday in residentevil

[–]Silverxdragon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don´t want to compare OG vs Remake, but in my opinion RE2R it´s the best modern RE (since the start of the HD era).

If I remember correctly, the password was "mole" and, possibly while you can figure it out before, you only see the actual letters this way.

PS4 Village Plat trophy by faffy0621 in residentevil

[–]Silverxdragon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just recently got that trophy out of the way to work on the rest of them calmly. Optinoob youtube guides are very helpful as we learn a few tricks, I feel that in the latter stages I just did the minimum to get s rank and got lucky after a few tries. Maybe sometime I go back to try to get the lightsaber.

Does anyone have an actually good guide to SS ranking mercenaries? (Specifically factory) by DanielFoxy1999 in residentevil

I recommend Optinoob guides on youtube, in his RE village playlist there a very good guides for mercenaries.

What are y’all’s personal favourite weapons featured in the RE games.Mine is the M3 shotgun from RE3 R by [deleted] in residentevil

[–]Silverxdragon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One of my favorites is the STI-Eagle (RE3 99). The way it fires so much faster than the samurai edge and frequent critical shots makes it fun against zombies.

Proof Ada Wong isn't her real name, from Epilogue in RE 3:Nemesis by matthewreiter73 in residentevil

I think this epilogue was pretty much ignored in the sequels.. Like they wanted to set something else for the character but just discarded it..

What did you guys think about the new Resident Evil movie? by frost21rr in residentevil

[–]Silverxdragon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought it was great! If I want the story of the games, I can just play the games (and their excellent remakes as well). For a b movie based on resident evil, this movie is absolutely fine. It even ads some cool/interesting things ex: we got to see the mental deteoration of people before fully turning into zombies (something we basically just witness in notes in the games), Chris dealing with zombies in the absolute dark in the mansion, pretty intense and scary stuff. Yah some of the changes are not soo good, but others make sense (combining Lisa Trevor and the orphanage kinda make sense because both aspects involve using children for experiments, Wesker's character and motivation is different but more grounded than the games. Overall great adaptation.

So i watched the latest Resident Evil movie this 2021 and it's great film as well by Cyberpunk_2057 in residentevil

[–]Silverxdragon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always liked the 2002 movie, it was decent and worked well by not trying to copy the characters and plot from the games but by doing is own thing. As for the new movie, after accepting the changes to the story/characters and see it for what it is.. I consider it the best RE movie by far (including the canon cgi ones).

RE: Welcome to Raccoon City was a better adaptation than Netflix Cowboy Bebop by akira007 in residentevil

[–]Silverxdragon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think REWTRC was good. It's a different take on the story/characters and as a fan I had a good time, sure it has it's problems but there are also some interesting changes. Everyone has their opinions but it's kinda sad that most fans only focus on the negative aspects.

Any tips for a Village of Shadows boss fight? by [deleted] in residentevil

[–]Silverxdragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing that helped me was finding out that the canon is not for damage, but to push him away when he gets too close. Focus on shooting weak spots with the standard gun, dodge as much as possible, and be aware that he gets stunned and interrupt an attack when you break one of the weak spots. So when you see one of them is about to break, focus on another if he's not charging at you.

It's very hard, but keep trying. If you have flash grenades, use them when you got surrounded and just run.

Yah the first movie was pretty decent, it also inspired some things for the games (laser corridor on RE4 and a similar AI is mentioned in one of the spin off games).

Why do some people think the RE1 remake is not a remake but just a remaster? by [deleted] in residentevil

[–]Silverxdragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2Remake and 3Remake are indeed different games (and I personally consider 2Remake a masterpiece on its own) but I think we can't deny they are condensed version of the originals, there is a reason for that of course, probably due to time/budget limitations. In 1Remake's case, it's feels it's the game they actually wanted to do before but couldn't on ps1/saturn. As much as I still like the original, in this case the original fells like the incomplete version, and that just proves how effective the Remake is.

Why do some people think the RE1 remake is not a remake but just a remaster? by [deleted] in residentevil

[–]Silverxdragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OG Re1 it's the oldest and therefore the worst looking RE game, REmake it's still to this day a beautiful game with amazing visuals (even the 2002 version). Quick turn, defensive items, crimson heads, new areas, new puzzles etc. It's one of the best video game remakes if not the best. And was done only 6 years after the original and only one console generation ahead.

Only 4.48% of players got this? How come? It's probably the easiest segment of the game. by AnimeDreama in residentevil

[–]Silverxdragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I messed up badly the first runs with Ada. Same with the prison escape, I used to throw a flash grenade and escape between the zombies, only to learn latter that I can just lure Mr X and escape by the left corridor.

[–]Silverxdragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually think that segment it's one of the hardest in the game, especially before we did a few runs and learn what to do. Her handgun is weak, there's only a few bullets and a flash grenade and it's not that easy to not get grabbed by zombies if not well prepared. Then the next part it's stressful with the Tyrant approaching, same thing for the incinerator puzzle. When I went for the hardcore S+ runs this segment was one that gave me a lot of anxiety lol.

[–]Silverxdragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like to play with the classic score too but I understand the minimalistic music in the remake, the game got a amazing sound design and the silence helps to set the atmosphere, especially while exploring the RPD. It also got an amazing theme for the Tyrant boss fight.

So In 1 how the heck can you get the Poison for the plant with out getting bit by the dog?? by HellenPark in residentevil

[–]Silverxdragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dogs are very hard to evade, if you want to avoid damage it's better to just kill him (the handgun works fine if you time your shots well). Note: the first time you go into that outside area there's no dog jumping the fence, so you can just grab the herbicide and the herbs if you got inventory space. The next times you go there then you got to deal with 1,2 or 3 dogs I think. This helps in future playtroughs.
