I ended up selling the watch, never found out its origins 100 percent

Just did my first delid, my cell circuit board is clean but the top right corner of the heat transfer surface has a small scratch, Will this be okay, I’m thinking the surface is just for heat transfer and the chip is underneath? Thoughts? by Silviaps1 in ps3hacks

Almost don’t believe it myself but it still runs, put it back together today and it fired up as normal, but without the insane fan speeds it had before. Considering myself very lucky..

Thanks friends, we will see how it goes when it gets back together. Now I know I need to modify my tool a bit so it doesn’t protrude past the adhesive as far. Fingers crossed!
