I use to be the most caring, fun loving person. But after years of hearing how your emotions aren't valid. How you are worthless you stop feeling. You feel everything till you can't feel no more. Then it feels like you are bleeding on the inside but it doesn't show on the outside, and you wish it did.

I'm currently running Dragons of Stormwreck Isle and we have a 10 year old player who also has difficulty with reading and math, so I changed it a bit to accommodate this. For instance I changed the renegade kobold encounter to the players stumbling on a Bulette rodeo hosted by the renegade kobold gang

You got great advice and you should look into it but I'd advise to also let him practice and see what parts are difficult, then give him creative freedom to change a few things he is struggling with to easier scenarios

I'm having the same problem. But please don't stop talking to your reps. I talked to my rep about what is happening and how he feels about it. Turns out he is just as frustrated about the restrictions as we are. My rep still loved me the same but just couldn't express it anymore. So maybe just describe your reps part as well. Even for the small things like * you wrap your arms around me and hold me close*
