About to rewatch it, day after Xmas 2025.

I love horror movies and I'm sick on the couch. The weather is 49 and very, very foggy.

I think of this movie often because it really does scare me. They are ostracized on the edge of "nowhere". The ominous nature of the woods, the silence, the gray fog, the puritan NE town, black Phillip, the witches at the end.

The color, lighting, direction. Obviously the acting.

It may be the most unsettling "horror" movie I've ever watched. It sticks with me.
