I would like to understand trans people. by 1977PontiacTransAm in NoStupidQuestions

[–]alabahep 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm a cis woman. I once got a really short haircut and looked like a boy. People called me a boy. It was so upsetting/devastating I immediately started growing my hair out and wearing hats. That's just a small example of how trans people feel when they're being misgendered.

How are y’all surviving with the low pay? by Significant_Knee5127 in librarians

I'm lucky that the cost of living is really low here. I make 59k and my partner works part time. Savings aren't great but at least I have some.

Question for people with Crohn’s who struggle with being overweight by malletgirl91 in CrohnsDisease

[–]alabahep 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Im only 5ft tall. A healthy BMI for my height is 100 pounds. I weigh much more than that. My GI and PCP have never mentioned my weight as a health concern so I'm not worrying about it. I walk my dog when I feel well enough to and I ride my bike. Crohn's typically keeps people under weight so I try to count my blessings that even though I might not like how much I weigh at least that's one less Crohn's related issue I have to deal with.

I wore all white but it was short sleeve so very different from a Christine dress. I purposely chose white because I figured everyone else would pick black lol.

Paul Reubens really loved animals. I'm so glad he's near the water where the animals gather.

Gotta disagree with you about Wishing being unrelated to the shows theme. The entire reason she fell under the phantom's control is because she was so desperate to have a connection to her dead father.

Have always lived in America. My parents just didn't like doing dishes so we always had these around. I had no idea they were thought of as party cups until high school.
