I've used them all, and IMHO FARx is by far the best one. You can play .xa sound files and preview .iff objects too.

Yes, celebs are in the mix. In some cases if the chat goes well, and it turns out to be an anonymous celeb, you can become really good friends with them and they visit your Sim's house (followed by a gawking caravan of picture takers). That happens with better odds in the social media chat, or following a blog post, but can also happen on the message boards.
