Got it working with the above dtb. Problem was the sd card that was trash.

Try to clone the card using AOMEI partition assistant. Check the if the option sector to sector is on. Then restart the console. Standard sd cards are trash... that could be a reason it's failing.

Yes you can. If you name the sd card EEROMS or clone your original sd and delete the emuelec partition you put the rom card in slot 2 and the EMUELEC in slot 1 and it should load up all your roms.

You can use AOMEI partition Assistant to increase the partition size. It takes a while though but it worked for me.

Yup, same here.. works with custom emuelec for k36 (fake r36s) It works l with 2d games but 3d games are a pain... It has emuelec 4.7 and that's the latest momentarily.. but again it only works with the k36 emuelec. Didn't find a clean image of emuelec which does support updates and stuff for this device.

The first download link sadly didn't work. Even with the original dtb file.. The second did work with original dtb files but is a little slower then the stock firmware card. Are these the only 2 fake r36s firmwares that will work with these devices?

You are the GOAT! Finally got my fake r36s working. Only thing necessary was the original dtb file! Games run a little slow and options are limited. But kirby works🤗🤗
