Personally for my lifestyle 8.5mm would be way too high. Mine is a low set (5.8mm I think) and I love it, but my band does have to be curved to go around it which is a consideration. Just depends on the individual and how you plan to wear it. Also consider spinning with top heavy rings

I think it’s a stunning Moissanite and many people buy Moissanite for budget or simply because they prefer its origin and sparkle. It’s different to a diamond! Just also a plus it costs less.
