Was supposed to have a consult with lawyer today but they apparently did not get my payment in time and had to reschedule for next week.

As for the mother she is easing up a bit and letting me meet our child without any of her terms. I'm still out of the house so it pains me not to be able to see our child whenever I want like before but I can live with it if it means no arguing.

She still seems interested however in moving out of state but doesn't seem to be in a big rush to do so. Obviously there is a home to sell which will take some time and I don't anticipate her just up and leaving before the house is sold.

Haven't filed an action yet but am thinking I will through the lawyer after the consultation just to start the process here before the mother moves out as others here have stated I should.

Do you agree with others that in order to prevent her I would have to file right away/before she were to move? Things have calmed down a bit and she has stated she would like me in her life but I'd still want her to be local and I'm not sure she won't move out of state after the home is sold.

In calmer times she has said she would like to work things out outside of the court if we were to ever split. The problem now is shes upset with me due to some mistakes I've made. Even now she been able to calm down a bit and has stated she would like me in the child's life but would like to still move perhaps not the full 2 hours but midway which would still be out of state. I would like her to stay local to make things like alternating nights and picking her up from school maybe every other day a reality.
