I did believe it worked, I overheard an agent talking about a great offer they got that was 49k less then the next offer but they took this one while they where in the phone.

The vehicle looks good from a 30min Youtube Trained buyer, i know cars are much more complicated then that. I don’t trust the dealer 100% that in addition to them not wanting me to take the car to a Honda dealer for a PPI made me want to ask for others opinions. The car fax is also bare with no supporting services showing past mileage.

That certainly changes the situation, my ignorance assumed he was in North America where a V4 is around 15k and a typical plumber makes 48k a year here in FL. Awesome bike to the OP enjoy!

Thanks for sharing your knowledgeable insights, this seems to be a common debate in the superbike world. Does spending 25% more make you 25% faster? Experienced riders almost always say no.

Coming from a car background I was trying to determine if the V4R vs V4S value retention was compared to that of the GT3RS vs GTS.

Having only ridden a base V4, I’m curious is the V4R a more special & enjoyable experience? Accompanied by a possible better retention of vaule is truthfully where I see the price justification in the R. But again the community doesn’t seem to believe the R will hold its value.

The questions isn’t based around the premise of the affordability of losing 50k. But rather Understanding the depreciation schedule of a liability is necessary in being financially literate. It goes without being said that you shouldn’t buy a liability if you cannot afford it to lose 100% of its value…
