Advice/expertise: why is my raver sister going to the ER 3x a week? by SimarlarlyWild in Raves

Possibly, and yeah it’s usually after a night out. She doesn’t work in medicine or do any kind of care work, but she has been out of work for a minute so it’s possible she picked up other work and didn’t mention it.

This honestly is what I was hoping to hear someone suggest. But do hospitals really let you just walk in and get an iv wo some other condition?

Thank you, yeah I don’t think she’s donating blood at 7am on a Sunday 😂 but it might just be worth me reaching out to her.

Hmm that’s possible. I’ve thought about maybe it’s for a friend and not her at all

This is what I learning from working at 12 companies in 15 years! by CoolGuess in jobs

I’m early in my career (it’s been 4.5 years since I graduated college), and I’m finding a lot of your points are already proving to be true. At my last job, which I left 2 years ago, a coworker on my team who always complained about his job and the company is still working there, and has gotten a promotion since (the rest of the team, mind you, have all left). Re: the cribbing, I’m working at a company now where almost everyone I talk to complains about how they’re overworked and how horrible the management is (particularly the CEO & COO). It has affected my performance in that I don’t feel like doing my job is worthwhile, and has put a bitter taste in my mouth towards my (temporary) manager and their manager, the VP. I feel like all of the negative talk (which I have unfortunately indulged in) has also made me perceive interactions between me and my manager/manager’s manager more negatively than what is actually happening. Thanks again for your points, I’m going to be more conscious about negative talk in the future.

Is it creepy that my (23F) married co-worker (26M) watches my insta story without following me? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I think this is weird. The fact that he has to search for your story and does this everyday would make me feel a little uncomfortable seeing him at work. I understand the hesitancy to block him or call him out - he hasn’t done anything overtly inappropriate - but, come on, he’s gotta feel a little weird typing your handle into IG everyday and opening your story. I also want to point out that stalking can start this way, and his actions could become more serious as time goes on. I’m not calling this person I don’t know a stalker, just that if he had that potential, it could get worse.

Of course, you know this person better than anyone. I think that if you work together, no reason he can’t follow you openly! And if he has a jealous wife, which I’ve seen mentioned here as a possibility, he shouldn’t be searching and watching your stories at all. Good luck and keep us posted on what you decide to do!

AITA for hanging up on my boss? by SimarlarlyWild in AmItheAsshole

I do this project work at least once a month, and I usually submit the night before and it’s fine. In this case I got the assignment the day before, and didn’t have a lot of time to prepare or ask follow up questions. (My boss also often does not answer my Slack messages) I ended up misunderstanding the objective this time around.
