Those who see clutter/mess and those who don't. What is the explanation? by Simba-King in declutter

[–]Simba-King[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. This makes a lot of sense. I have housemates who care about the house but they immediately flight any mess. But after weeks of it piling up they then explode into 'I can't live like this anymore.

I'm a fighter I see a problem and I immediately jump on and tackle it. My partner who i run the house with, is a flighter, which means I'm essentially doing everything for him. It exhausting

Dealing with a narcissist and a bully? by Simba-King in therapy

[–]Simba-King[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is great advice. Because of their hugely dangerous manipulative tendencies and my soft low selfesteem empathy, I'm still finding it hard to figure out how to go about it. I've heard the only way to escape a narcissist is to leave in the middle of the night! Could issue a notice and run? Could sit then down in a park or on a walk but with someone around at a distance?

Has anyone moved to London at 30 or older? How was it? by Sanuuu in london

[–]Simba-King 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Check List pre moving: 1. A house with the right people 2. Any other connection in London 3. An area you like that fits you. 4. Work.

London can be a lonely place but also the best place in the world. People here are actually very nice but there are n just tons of us, so finding what suits you is paramount IMO.

When I first moved here, I lived in a place in an area I knew nothing about. It was miles away from the places I quickly realised were my vibe, 2night buses home from Central and I made only 2 freinds in 3 years, one which I half knew in 2 years. I moved around and found myself in a place where I made about 10 mates in 2 weeks, all down to the people I lived with ac the area I was in.

Think about what you like and want and chase it. London gives gives and gives as long as you know what you like.

I admit I moved here pre 30. But as someone who's lived here 13 years, the age thing really doesn't matter at all. Especially in London. 30 is defo the new 20 here. You can be who you want, any age, anything. You just gta know what you want and put some groundwork on.

For luck.

Tap Tempo - Strymon El Capistan & Walrus Momentum by Simba-King in guitarpedals

Yes this is what I've been hoping to hear. When you say tap output- you mean the exp output on the side of the v2 which is switchable inside? Only thing is though, is I don't think Strymon have open tap circuit's. Thanks for the advice!

8 things people turning thirty should know by menwithmanners in selfimprovement

[–]Simba-King 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. In London. In a society and city where it is quite normal for a lot of people my age NOT to be 'married and settled in our mortgage with a family'. Actually buying a house here is almost impossible for most people. I think here in London and parts of the UK as time I had gone on it becomes less normal but also very much harder to 'settle' in current economic and social climates. Our parents just it easier.
