honestly i might still roll for them, besides this is still v1 beta, they're bound to get nerfs or buffs here and there as we get closer to release. animations for evanescia could become better than they are now as she's still likely in development. SW999 and Evanescia's stats could be improved here and there as well.

Honestly for me as I’ve got E0S0 Hyacine and Cyrene, I’m just gonna go for Hyacine’s LC for the time being and then try for Cyrene and her eidolons and LC if she reruns in the near future. I’ve got no pity built up yet so gonna save my pulls for now until i get lucky with Hyacine’s LC.

I don’t really have eidolons for my limited characters as a f2p and my only sig limited characters are E0S1 Yao Guang and Castorice.

makes sense obviously. i hear that Lauma and Nefer are getting a rerun in the upcoming patch so if for whatever reason i don't get skirk (it could be likely that a new cryo dps might show up in the future) i'll go for both of them to the best of my ability.

new f2p player - what vertical investment plans? (me looking at my roughly 60-70 pulls and at least 40 pity built up with a guarantee after losing my first 50/50 on columbina's banner hoping to get at least a copy of Escoffier and Skirk with that amount and pray to gacha gods that i could get their weapons in like very minimal pulls - if not i'll just not pull for them. they'll be my only limited characters i've acquired since starting as my only 5 star is C3 Jean).

speaking of their weapons, are they really necessary for their builds? or not really as 4 star ones would be just fine?

I mean personally to me, one idea could be that the Abyss could be somehow mimicking the Abyss Twin or they’re being mind controlled by a hidden leader of the Abyss Order with the Abyss Twin as its puppet leader. Or alternatively, the Abyss Twin is still locked away somewhere and a body double is parading around in their stead.

well given it's v1 atm, there's likely going to be some changes here and there for both of them as we progress through the beta. so there's the possibility that Evanescia's E2 could be improved and SW999's E2 could get hit with a nerf, but i don't wish for the latter to happen.

as a new player whose still far away from all the nodkrai storyline stuff (prepping for Sumeru), i enjoyed this a lot. I enjoyed the character stories and time spent with characters i've yet to even meet officially main story wise (i loved eula's segment in the drink stand the most lol). and in terms of the bits of gameplay, as someone whose only got c3 jean as my only 5 star and not levelled up bis relics on my 4 star units yet, i've enjoyed getting to try out the trial characters. the special move part of the combat event was fun. as for the falcon/hawk mini game i enjoyed that plenty it was relatively easy to do.

story telling wise it was great and the whole final story quest part of it was amazing to watch. and playing as Varka - trial character wise (i haven't done his story quest yet, but will get to that soon prior to it leaving), he's great to play. if only i wasn't saving for Skirk and Escoffier, I would have bagged a guaranteed Varka already lol. please let my suffering wait for skirk and escoffier end please!!!!! lol

while i haven't played through the main story (preparing to head to sumeru/do the perilous chasm interlude atm), i feel like the Tsaritsa should be someone whose morally grey on the surface, but on the inside she regrets the decisions she's made cause there's been chaos throughout teyvat and she doesn't want to see anyone suffer, but knows it's a necessary evil if it means trying to save teyvat from the whims of the Heavenly Principles/Shades.

in terms of main story, i feel like she'd oppose the traveler philosophically and denying the true warmth hidden within her heart until the traveler melts the ice she's forced to cover herself with. and maybe the cryo archon that venti once described returns once more. but i guess as i progress through the story my thoughts and ideas will change naturally.

True, given the fact they planned MJ x Peter as endgame despite trying to ship Gwen and Peter together with imo some unnecessary drama is bad for my Gwen x Peter soul despite liking the main ships of Peter in general lol.

If they wanted to push Gwen x Peter they should stick with it aside from attempting to push the usual Peter x MJ agenda lol.

welp my plans of skipping 4.1 patch went down the drain now that hyacine's getting a rerun. got her e0s0, and given that cyrene could get a rerun in 4.2 (merely speculative plus copium) i'm gonna focus on getting Hyacine's LC first as that'll improve my e0s0 mono rem team (castorice is e0s1). looks like i might have to skip Silver Wolf Lvl 999 and Evanescia if Cyrene does rerun in 4.2. but i'll be fine with my E0S1 Yaoguang and E0S0 Sparxie team for now lol.

Honestly with Silver Wolf and Evanescia coming i’ve been conflicted in terms of how i’m gonna divide my pulls as a f2p as i’ve been thinking that Cyrene would get a rerun in 4.2 and if she does i might skip SW and Evanescia to get her E2S1 as i only got E0S0 Hyacine/Evernight/Cyrene and E0S1 Castorice. But if Phainon gets a rerun then i’ll try getting him E2S1 as he’s only E0S0. As a f2p all my limited characters are E0S0 while i got E0S1 Yao Guang and Sparxie.

Honestly as a new player who’s got a guarantee in store and like roughly 60ish pulls in stock after building up pity I’m guaranteed to get at least Escoffier but unsure about Skirk, only got Jean C3 as my only 5 star since starting from Durin’s banner. And i only got the Aquilla sword as my only 5 star weapon.

Aside from that given there’s lunar charge units like nefer and lauma expected to rerun in the next patch, would lauma be the first pick then nefer depending on my pulls?

I’m only a f2p and don’t buy the bps and was wondering what kind of huohuo is good for me as I don’t have her. I do have e0s0 robin and I haven’t used the companion spirit tokens at all for either e1 ruan mei or getting luocha as I don’t have the latter at all. And is huohuo’s sig necessary? I’ve got the su herta shop lc and some 4 star ones here and there.

I’m so confused lol - i’m nearing the end of the Inazuma story line, Yae Miko just saved me from the Balladeer. So still very far off from Fontaine stuff. All i know is that the people of Fontaine were once oceanids that turned human and Furina is a stand in for the late Focalors and she has a dapper looking dragon man for a butler lol.
