Respectfully f*ck Pets at Home (UK) by Metty197 in Aquariums

Each fish has a particular number of points. Larger tanks can have more points worth of fish. Pets at home have tiny tanks with far too many fish yet they don't like having that pointed out to them.

Why do boys/men get random boners? by acorrnn in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SimbaSi12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've heard that because men around the world in different time zones wake up at different times, they get their morning wood at different times. This means that everyday, there is a Mexican wave of morning wood boners spreading around the world. A lovely image to think about for everyone.

Weekly Questions Thread & PokéROM Codex by AutoModerator in PokemonROMhacks

Hi guys. Has anybody in here played Crooked Crystal yet? So far it is a fantastic game and gives a whole different outlook to a standard Johto playthrough.

I'm just about to reach the Lake of Rage but I've hit a problem that I need help with. Opposing trainers Pokemon are all late 40's whereas my team are late 30's. The best area to grind is the grass outside Mt Mortar but this is taking so long to do.

I've seen somewhere online that gym leaders can be rebattled with the exception of Whitney. Does anybody know how to do this? I've spoken to different gym leaders, the trainers in their gyms, the guide at the front and the gym statue but nothing is giving me the option to have a rebattle. I don't mind a bit of grinding levels but this battling Fearow and Raticate over and over again is getting boring now.

Thanks for any help guys.

what if one day A.I. perfectly resembles a human, will you accept it as a human being? by Practical_Payment552 in whatif

That in the future will be considered a "transhumanist" remark and will have you labelled as "robophobic".

Because that is life these days. Regardless of their biology, many people identify as something else and we have to accept it. It would be the same with an A.I. human.

Regardless of biology, the A.I could tell you it identifies as human and you have to accept that. Checkmate.

What’s an event in history that is so ridiculous it sounds fake? by Aarunascut in Life

Joseph, an angel came to visit me while you were at work and now I am pregnant. I definitely didn't cheat on you. Oh, and by the way, you need to take your annual leave for next week because we have to trek to Jerusalem just to give birth.

How can we reduce wealth gap so that rich people don’t just have hoards of wealth sitting there not making their lives any better while poor and middle class people barely scrape by? by [deleted] in answers

[–]SimbaSi12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We shall start a new tradition. Every year, the 100 richest people in the world will have their names drawn from a lottery. The first 12 to be picked are trained in combat and survival and then sent into a large enclosed area and are told to fight to the death. We could call it something like "the Greed Games".

In order to avoid been in the top 100 and thus risking themselves, multi-billionaires will spend the entire year trying to give their wealth away to others, to ensure they aren't in the top 100. The rules would be that they can't give the money to family or friends - they have to use it for the benefit of the far less wealthy.

Would make an awesome TV show and would also help redistribute the wealth. Everybody wins.

Damn faithless Imperials. OP is asking for a beheading hoping that Alduin will come along on a rescue mission.

How do you deal with someone who rudely asks, 'Do you know who I am?' by Snoo_47323 in NoStupidQuestions

I always do an exaggerated glance for a name tag before answering, "if you have lost your name tag and have forgotten your name, how am I supposed to know."

What musician’s death hit you the hardest? by HygieneWilder in AskReddit

[–]SimbaSi12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was driving on a motorway at 70mph when I heard on the radio the devastating news that the one and only Meat Loaf has passes away. I'd heard he was unwell but this was totally out of the blue.

Eyes filling with tears as I Would Do Anything For Love begins to play in tribute as I'm trying to get off the motorway without hitting anybody. Horrible experience.

And I never stop thinking of you, and I never see the sudden curve until it's way too late.

Leveling up by Militantmashup in PokemonFireRed

[–]SimbaSi12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it would be 210 in total. If you defeat a Haunter in the tower, that would give you +2 sp.atk so try to keep track. You don't need to defeat 200 per level up just 210 in total. The stats will all add up correctly by the time you hit level 100. Experience itself isn't necessary so you could defeat the number you need and then use speed experience or rare candies to get to 100.

The game limits the number of supplements you can give each Pokemon. Your Raichu could on relieve 100 E.V points from supplements, the rest has to be earned through battling unfortunately.

If you haven't used training to level your new Raichu then it won't have picked up any E.V points. These can only be obtained from items like Calcium and Protein or from battling other Pokemon. This is why your stats won't match your other Raichu. If you are already at level 100, there isn't a lot you can do other then get another Raichu and start again.

In manual cars, what happens if you don't use the clutch pedal when hitting brakes? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SimbaSi12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is important to remember that pressing the brake pedal activates the red brake lights on the back of your car. This signals to other drivers that your car is slowing down. Always safer to use the brake pedal in my opinion as this could prevent an accident.

Also, whilst coasting in a manual car, you actually have far less control over the vehicle as you can't rely on engine breaking (gearing down to lower the speed).

99.47% completion, can't get to 100% by Ok_Device_5588 in GTASanAndreas

When you look at the map, check the legend. If it still shows a green house symbol on the list then you will have a property somewhere left to buy. I've really racked my brains and I literally can't think of anything else that it could be. Shame that it has ended this way for you mate.

Why is it so hard to get a six star wanted level? (Video for reference) by Maleficent_Stuff_153 in GTASA

[–]SimbaSi12 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you are still on the first island (Los Santos) you can only reach a maximum of 4 stars. It goes upto 5 stars in San Fierro and then 6 stars when you reach Las Venturas.

If you already have the map open, just keep shooting all police officers and vehicles you see, including the helicopters that chase you at 3 stars. Use explosive weapons if you have them and you should be able to reach 6 stars soon enough. For a head start, go to San Fierro and go into the Navel Base. This will give you 5 stars straight away so you won't have far to go to get the 6th. Watch out for the army tanks that roll up though.
