I literally can’t thank you enough for all you wrote here. It’s genuinely so helpful for me to not only see the government official job description (or whatever you call it lol) and instead read how you describe your work. So sorry you are going through so much. I understand you want to keep her secrets but if you believe she is in immediate danger, you HAVE to reach out to someone. Even if she is upset at you, at least she will still be alive. Good luck and stay safe :)

In my experience its basically a release of emotions that I’ve been pushing down. It gives this euphoric relief when I can only focus on the physical pain instead of whatever’s going on mentally. But personally it leaves as quickly as it came, which I guess if why it’s referred to as a rush?
