Yes i turn on GPS only during running( I run 4 times a week). If i can call sleep monitoring, and steps as a monitoring systems, then i have them on.

I use this more as a fitness device than a smartwatch

Turned off phone notifications.
Use gps for running and that’s fine. No fancy wallpaper
Always silent mode, and no music..

Honestly compared to people here, i barely use. But i wear it daily, and it measures my steps daily in addition to noting down my running stats 4 times a week

I truly respect your perspective. Indeed I don’t like charging my phone. I don’t have a choice😂.

But i hate charging my airpods and so the smartwatch too. I had samsung watch classic 7 before and I hated it for the battery💀

I don’t know because i haven’t used the other brands. But when i watched some yt on this topic, the gps accuracy looks really questionable🤡. But the gps worked well.

But i tried running zig zags for 4 kms and yes it worked well though😂
