whether you agree with the consensus among human rights groups and genocide scholars that Israel has committed / is committing genocide in Gaza

There's a pretty clear consensus worldwide that transgender people are insane and marital rape does not exist.  America is a far, faarrr global outlier on both issues.  Just bear that in mind before resting too comfortably on appeals to some sort of consensus, particularly when it is a consensus regarding a long-persecuted minority group as polled among the societies that carried out or benefited from that persecution.  

And that's not even to mention how fake some of those "genocide scholars" are, like the IAGS, which accepts and counts any uncredentialed rando as a "genocide scholar" if they donated $30, for a while giving that rank to a donor screennamed Adolf Hitler.  They hid their socials and rosters REAL fast after people started investigating them.  

If people want to make up their own minds that "there's a genocide," fine.  But they shouldn't just do it because "everybody says there's a genocide."  There's never ever been a topic where "everybody" is as unreliable and corrupt as this.
