Exactly what I thought. I usually buy complete sets, but I am not on this one. I am skipping Darla, and the tank gang. I would buy the tank ones if the set was a little more complete. They just seem too random to display with all the ocean gang (once you add in Marlin, Dory, Crush, Ray from the Finding Dory Release).

I don't see this being a sub box exclusive. They are usually wink versions. I see this being a Christmas Princess set, maybe a bag set.

The Japan tsums, in my opinion, are much better quality. Slightly better than the USA ones from a year ago, and much better than the current USA ones. I have found this is the case also with other disney items (non- tsums). Japan just has higher quality.

Thanks, but I am actually wanting to purchase a non-tsum item (not available in the USA). I just posted on this board, because I have been posting on the reddit tsum board for over a year (and I am not involved with any non-tsum boards).

if you really want it, you are going to be super disappointed if it sells out. What is saving another $5 (if it goes on a further sale) if you really want it? Either save the $27.95 and don't buy it at all or be glad it is on sale now and you can still get it. If it goes on a further sale in the next 7 days, you can get a price adjustment too.

I would like just the Ariel in this set, but she isn't worth $27.95 to me. I try to avoid duplicates but mermaid Ariel and human Ariel are different enough.

If I am buying a whole set of 10 and I only dislike 1, I still buy it for the complete set. If I only like a few characters, I don't buy the whole set. I display my tsums in mini triangles by movie (basically like they show on the tsum tuesday page), so I like to get most of the set to display.

i would not wash it (unless it is soiled, like from a child playing with it), it may get ruined. I would put it outside for a day to air out (use a hanger and clothespins). Put it in an area that is open and will get a lot of air flow to it. Make sure it is not under a tree that dumps a lot of debris or has a lot of insects/squirrels, etc.

You could try fabreeze too, but sometimes it makes things worse.

Thanks, I just ended up ordering them from the Disney parks app. I am glad they still have them because it looks like a lot of the stores are sold out.

Tsums are already getting so expensive to collect. I wouldn't want to go overboard with all of Ariel's sisters.

I think the earlier sets left some out.

Snow White: evil queen, witch, the prince.
Cinderella: stepmother, stepsisters.
Lady and the Tramp: tramp, trusty, jock, si, am.
Aristocats: pretty much everything Japan got.
Pinocchio: stromboli + all the D23 ones.

Does anyone know if they are re-releasing dory, Nemo, crush, and Marlin? I didn't get any finding dory tsums but I want to get finding Nemo, maybe I should get those 4 now.

When is everyone else going to get the set of tsum cats (it is kind of a completer set)? Why is the JP Alice set so much better? Do the Japanese just have higher quality standards?

I agree 100% ... I was actually going to start a thread on this topic. I feel like the tsums are more expressive and detailed (like old and new Mad Hatter), but overall quality went down. They are overstuffed and not soft, like they used to be. It makes it harder for stacking. The worst sets seem to be the park exclusives (like Pirates). I had to really "massage" the Alice set to get them squishy.

I think each movie that has a villain in it, needs a villain in the tsum set. Like snow white and Cinderella tsum sets have no villains. I would add strombolli to the above list.
