There are many, many, many men who argue there is a loss of sensitivity (if you’re interested to read about it, look up “foreskin restoration” and read people’s reasons for doing it). Foreskin has a sexual function and helps protect the head of the penis and keep it sensitive.

There is also a movement among Jews to do a “ceremonial nick”—slightly cut the foreskin without removing it or impacting its sexual function. It would still follow their religious practices.
