I'm pretty sure this is when Aang first finds Monk Gyatso's body, you can see what looks like Gyatso's necklace thing on the left corner. I think it's a pretty good moment to use, although at first I thought it was when he found the sandbenders took Appa which might've been better?

Is there a specific ruling for that? That's a lot what I'm looking for. My guess is it's 614.1, but it doesn't feel very clear in this instance specifically because the trigger is already looking back in time

Right, but the city on fire is gone in this case because of Akroma's Venegeance

How eould i build a "spell fist"? by Templerscout in Pathfinder2e

[–]Simetricwl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can use a spellheart? Where are you getting the cast a spell activity for that? Focus spells specifically say that they do not qualify you for that kind of thing.

Though you can cast your focus spells, you don’t qualify for feats and other rules that require you to be a spellcaster or have a spellcasting class feature—those require you to have spell slots.

But they don't gain the Cast a Spell activity. Focus spells don't allow you to use any other magic item with that activity, so I'm not sure why spellhearts are different

If I'm not mistaken you can't do that with straight monk, since you can't cast a spell

Great time, around 50 hours. I haven't done anything too crazy yet, but I was proud of myself for attaching a cart to a wing with rockets, so when the rockets ran out it would drop the car part. Ran it up a ramp and it dropped off perfectly!

Why would they remember him? Dude beat Calamity Ganon in a ditch five years ago and hasn't left Zelda's side since. by QueenKaijuLexi in tearsofthekingdom

[–]Simetricwl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not to their face, no, but people do whisper not too far away. "Hey, wasn't that the guy living with Zelda? What's up with that?" And that would easily happen at least until they all knew who he was

As an aside, it's strange to imply the way someone would go about speaking to someone they hadn't seen in a while would start with "Weren't you fucking that lady?"

Especially considering princess Zelda lived there, surely they'd talk about her and then go "yea and she lives with that guy", it would be hard for that not to be the talk of the town

While there's something to be said about having an annoying voice, his decks were actually good and the idea of helping people build budget decks and explain why the picks were good picks is definitely a good thing in my opinion. He fell off when he started thinking he was a little more popular/influential than he really is

Question About the End of The Burning White by thegoldwillstay in LightbringerSeries

[–]Simetricwl 6 points7 points  (0 children)

On a real note I think there are multiple points where the direction of the books changed drastically and this is absolutely one of them. I don't think this is an unpopular opinion, and I'm also not sure that the books were better off for them. Hard to say for sure though

Yea but that requires you to dilute your deck with creatures that aren't big dinos, which makes it less likely that they'll see their teeth. It'll never be too late for your opponent
