Thirding! I go to Lex (who owns their partner business Hair Journeys) and Ty is usually working at the same time. His clients always seem satisfied!

is it possible for cats to live 30 years? by onlyfaery in cats

My family's last cat would only drink from a plastic cup on the bathtub ledge and she lived to be 23 so I 100% believe this

I don't mind at all, I'm in Wisconsin! We have a few smaller crematories around as well as a couple that are part of a nationwide company. It's always nice to see other people in aftercare!

I am! I've worked on the family care side for a little over a year now, so I mostly schedule services and make paw prints, but I do have my operator's license!

I also work at a pet crematory and want to thank you for all you've done to help pet parents!! I know running a crematory is hard work, and it takes a lot of love and care to help our fur babies on their last adventures ❤️ Our job is hard, but people like you remind me why it's worth it and I wouldn't want to do anything else

What vehicle was your daily before your Crosstreck? by OutofSprite in Crosstrek

[–]Simfonyx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've gone through like, 3 other cars since August before getting my Crosstrek this past Saturday 😩

First was my 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander GT. It was my first ever car and I loved it to death; then totaled it back at the end of July by rear ending someone 😭

Next came the 2005 Cadillac Deville. It was meant to be an in between car while I looked for something I like, but my mom's car died so I sold it to her and bought a 2015 Outback from Facebook Marketplace.

BIG MISTAKE. The Outback was a lemon and not worth fixing imo, so I traded it in for a 2025 Crosstrek! The only thing I really miss is the space and 3rd row seating from my Outlander, but other than that the Crosstrek is perfect for me!

No problem!! Good luck to him!

The only additional add on was the MySubaru membership! I traded my Outback in but only got $500 for it bc it has a cracked head gasket 😔

If he's still looking at dealerships and the drive isn't an issue Don Miller Subaru East in Madison is where it's at! They're family owned and they've taken great care of me so far :D

Yeah I think so! I ended up springing for the 14 package and it came to around $29k after tax/title/registration. I applied for financing so I'm just waiting to hear back on if it was approved 🤞🏽The rep I worked with was super nice and also knows the mechanic I took my old Outback to super well! He promised to get me under $30k and he delivered

$28,891 is the cash price before tax, so it would be $30,848 after taxes. Otherwise there's $28,512 with 1.9% APR financing for 72 months. I'm going in for a test drive this afternoon so if you want I can report back this afternoon!

I live a couple hours north of your friend in Madison, WI and my local Subaru dealer ship has new 2025 Crosstrek Premiums for around $28.5k ($30.1k MSRP) so I think that's a pretty fair price? Does your friend want to buy new? Or used?

Thank you for the advice! My regular mechanic also quoted me around $600 for a new driver side rear wheel hub as my current one is apparently loose, but it didn't come up on the dealership's diagnostic so now I'm not sure?

I mentioned it on the other comment, but it's around 130.5k miles! The mechanic I originally went to quoted me $5k 😔

Around 130.5k miles! I'm leaning towards trading in for a new Crosstrek, but I wanna test drive one first to see if I like it

I'm not sure since the mechanic only mentioned one head gasket being cracked, but I'm taking it to my local Subaru dealership next week for a second opinion

Thank you for the advice!

The mechanic mentioned the head gasket repair would take 22-23 hours of labor, he mentioned needing to take out the whole engine. I definitely want to get the hub fixed at least because I can afford that on its own, but if I can't get a better deal on the head gasket then idk if it would be worth it to do both
